I bought this product a week ago. After using it in the shower one night I got out and my face was as red as a tomato. It stayed red for 24 hours. When I woke up the next morning my face was extremely red still and was itchy. I ended up with small bumps and a rash all over my face. It looked worse the next day than it did that night. DO NOT BUY!

Right out of the tube, it has a fresh fruity scent to it. I like that I have to mix the cleanser with water. Although it isn't a deep cleanser, but it is fun to use, especially as a face refresher. I've only been using this for a day or two and my skin already feels amazing! The micro beads dissolve so they don't end up getting in your eyes while your washing the solution off. My skin feels very soft and hydrated. I normally have very acne prone skin but I've switched to this for good.

I use this everyday. I love how the little beads feel on my face and it leaves my skin feeling fresh. I always moisturize after but so many face washes leave my skin feeling dry. This has lasted me a long time and doesnt take much! I will be buying this again when i run out.

Purchased because it is non-comedogenic and it is a very nice, gentle exfoliator! I have been able to use it as my everyday face wash and liked it. I wouldn't say this is a holy grail product, but definitely one of the better exfoliators I have tried!

I can definitely notice a difference after first use. It also made my skin super soft and plump. My skin looks so much smoother and younger looking. I will definitely be purchasing again.

I have combo/oily skin that usually gets a few light, dry patches in the winter, so I was excited when I found Hydro Boost! I always have great results from Neutrogena products, but not this one... My jawline became unbearably itchy. I was just clawing at it and no amount of lotion or ice would help. I had red, scaly dry patches all along my less oily areas—jaw, lower cheeks, above lip, and forehead. After reading other negative reviews, it seems like I experienced the same sort of chemical type burn that others did. I have very durable skin that doesn’t typically react bad to facial products so this was a surprise. Even worse is that it’s been several days since I stopped using it and my face is still in scaly, patchy shape. I’m using moisturizing masks daily to repair my skin. On the bright side, my fiancé likes Hydro Boost, but I haven’t noticed his dry skin improving from it yet. I definitely recommend putting the additional disclaimer that this cleanser may cause irritation besides just the warning for sun exposure. Thanks!

I have to say, I love neutrogena. I usually use the healthy skin boosters cleanser and scrubs (my staple for the past 4 years). I decided to get the new hydro boost exfoliating cleanser and hydro boost cleansing gel for the winter since my skin is extra dry in the winter. I got it on Sunday, today is Wednesday and my face looks TERRIBLE! I look like I'm sick. For the past 2 days I've been itchy and scratching my face, especially around the mouth area. I dnt have any known allergies but I am disappointed in this product. I can't believe it!I love this company and stick to only neutrogena's products for my face but I don't know what to do besides throwing these 2 products away. I bought the hydro boost gel a week prior to buying the cleanser and exfoliater and had no issue until I started using the rest of the line. *I have never had any acne issues or black heads, only dry skin. I stopped using the healthy skin booster for a week just to test these 2 products. *

I used this product 4 or 5 times before my skin became HORIBBLY dry, chapped, cracked, and burned. My skin is red, bumpy, peeling, and painful. I can’t wear makeup and even applying a general moisturizer stings like fire. This cleanser must be too abrasive for the average skin. Please consider reformulating it before other customers experience the pain and embarrassment like I am!
