I know I’ve reviewed this before because it’s one of my favorite drugstore skincare lines. This whole collection is fantastic and this product is perfect for a daily exfoliant or every once in a while when you feel like you need an extra scrub. Awesome for dry skin!

I used this product only once, before I went to bed. I woke up the next morning with my entire face covered in tiny bumps. My face was burning so bad that I cried. The pain was seriously unreal. And it was soooooooo itchy. Like chicken pox itchy. I work in customer service and this highly affected my confidence at work the next 3 days. Today is the third day, and though the itching is gone, the pain and appearance are still there. And this is after I slept with my face smothered in cortisone cream and aloe gel. My face feels super dry but looks super oily. My face looks disgusting, and I can't cover it up with makeup because (1) it hurts and (2) it just draws attention to the bumps. It looks like every single pore or hair follicle is swollen. It is particularly bad around my nose, upper lip, forehead, upper cheeks... Really all over. Even my neck. I have never had any type of reaction to any other product in my life. If you are going to try this, at least make sure you have nowhere to go the next few days. I have no clue how long it will take for my face to feel normal again, let alone look normal... I had such nice skin texture. This is horrible and honestly hurting my mental health. I am embarrassed for people to see me now. Horrible horrible experince with this product. :/

I have always used Neutrogena products and never had any issues. I decided to try this to see if it hydrated my sometimes dry skin. My skin feels like I have a sun burn and it is red around my eyes and chin. It became super dry around my mouth and nose. I wont use again.

I’ve been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliating Gel Cleanser for a while now, and I really like it! The gel texture feels super refreshing, and the little exfoliating beads are gentle but still do a good job at making my skin feel smooth. I have combination skin, so I love that it has hyaluronic acid to help keep some moisture in. if I use it every day, my skin can feel a little dry, so I stick to a few times a week. It leaves my face clean, soft, and fresh, without that tight feeling some exfoliating cleansers give. Plus, it’s clean skincare, which is always a bonus! If you have normal to oily skin, I think this could be a great daily cleanser, but for drier skin, it’s better as an occasional exfoliator.

Awful product. I’m 32 and never had a reaction to any products , my eyes itch, my cheeks and nose burn and feel like eczema or some sort of dermatitis I would never of brought this product if I’d of read the reviews. What the hells in this wash? Very disappointed as leaving for a holiday in a few days with a red itchy face that hasn’t improved after 2 days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliation Cleanser is exactly what the name promises: hydrating and exfoliating at the same time. I never would have though before that a product could successfully exfoliate while leaving my skin feeling hydrated instead of striped, but this product really does both! I love that it has a grit to the texture but not too harsh that it feels like it's scratching my skin. It really feels great on the skin and gets every last bit of dirt/makeup off! I love that it also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and not dried out! I have had other exfoliating cleansers that left me with dry, tight skin - not this! Would recommend to any skin type.

Right out of the tube, it has a fresh fruity scent to it. I like that I have to mix the cleanser with water. Although it isn't a deep cleanser, but it is fun to use, especially as a face refresher. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleanser was not as rough as I expected it to be texture-wise. The exfoliating beads were not rough and were gentle on my skin. The smell was refreshing and reminded me of a clean, fresh day of swimming in a pool. My skin felt smoother and very clean after use.

I want to leave my honest review about this wash 😊I bought it once and now I can’t live without it 👍I use it two or three times a week, it cleanses the skin very well and refreshes, the smell is very light and pleasant. I definitely recommend it 🥰
