[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a blessing for my face! I have tried lots of exfoliates in the past, but usually they dry my skin out or leave a film on my skin. With Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanser my face feels cleaner and smoother, all day. I love this product and will continue to use this as well as spread the word about it.

I know I’ve reviewed this before because it’s one of my favorite drugstore skincare lines. This whole collection is fantastic and this product is perfect for a daily exfoliant or every once in a while when you feel like you need an extra scrub. Awesome for dry skin!

I purchased this product and used for THREE DAYS! On day three my neck broke out, my face felt like sand paper, and turned red. I immediately stopped using it. On Day 4 I have patches and what looks like burns on my face. My face is so irritated! I do not have sensitivity to any soaps or products...until Now.

I tried the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanser, and it’s a decent daily cleanser with mild exfoliation. It has a gel-like texture with tiny beads and lathers well. While it cleans thoroughly without being too harsh, it’s not as hydrating as I expected. My skin feels fresh but slightly tight afterward, so I always need a moisturizer. It didn’t cause major irritation despite my sensitive skin, but the added fragrance and sulfates might not suit everyone. Overall, it’s a good option for normal to oily skin but may not be the best for very dry or sensitive skin. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

I purchased this about a week ago and have been using it ever since. The microscopic exfoliating beads, you can barely see and can only feel when you put the product on you fingers and rub them together. Even then you barely feel them. I'm not into harsh scrubs, but if you can't feel it at all, it won't remove anything either. It so far hasn't been successful at removing any of the dead skin from my face, I have to use other products. The hydro boost part, I'm 35 so my skin is plump enough at my age, that it won't make a difference. I use moisturizer after, because this cleanser is extremely drying(makes my face look chalky). Wish I could get a refund......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleanser was not as rough as I expected it to be texture-wise. The exfoliating beads were not rough and were gentle on my skin. The smell was refreshing and reminded me of a clean, fresh day of swimming in a pool. My skin felt smoother and very clean after use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Hydro boost exfoliating cleanser, it cleans the skin well and at the same time removes dry skin very efficiently. I had a flaky line by the crease of my nose and since I started using this cleanser I do not see the dry skin around my nose anymore. After I wash off my face my skin feel smooth and soft, I always moisturize later to avoid my skin from drying out too much. I would surely be buying the exfoliating cleanser by Neutrogena again. I received a sample product to try and test in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

I just ran out of my old cleanser and decided to try a new one, so I bought this one. The first time I used it, it hurt my skin and felt too harsh, I thought that I had to get used to it and when I used it the second day it still hurt my skin, it felt like a scratching feeling on my skin and kinda burned after I rinsed it off, kinda sad, I was excited about this product.

I was really happy to see, how well it cleans without drying my skin in the process. It was gentle, yet really effective at getting deep down in my pores. It was pretty creamy coming out of the tube, and hand a light scent to it. I definitely will buy this, when I buy face wash next time. I think Neutrogena is a, leader in advancing skincare products.

I only bought this 2 days ago, and I’m already in love. I’ve been using the Hydro Boost moisturizer in the jar for a very long time and it is the only moisturizer I will ever use. I wanted to try a cleanser in the Hydro Boost line to go with the moisturizer and I’m so happh I did. Having oily skin and breakout prone skin, I was hesitant to use products that hydrate your skin because of my skin type, but this stuff is so gentle and even with oily skin hydration is the key to keep oil under control. It doesn’t dry my skin out, it feels so clean and fresh. I love the combo of this exfoliating cleanser and their Hydro Boost gel moisturizer!
