Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before purchasing this product. I fell into the trap of the packaging and what this product offered: hydro boosted skin. I thought this could be a perfect winter face wash as my face is super dry in the winter. I WAS WRONG. Instead of assisting with the dryness, this only worsened my issue. I tested it out on the day of my 21st birthday - a day where I should feel confident and happy - but the opposite occurred. My special day was ruined to red, splotchy, irritated skin. I don't know what you put in this product, but it is horrible for skin. Like another upset review said, I don't know why this is still on ththe shelves. Take it off as soon as possible. Beware. This product sucks.

I tend to have dry skin, but I see a visible difference with regular use after a few weeks. The exfoliating ingredients are not harsh on the skin and absorbs well into the face. I love how it also has hyaluronic acid (though it is the last ingredient), but it looses some points because fragrance is a listed ingredient. However, there are more pros than cons, so I would recommend this product.

I do NOT have sensitive skin. I purchased this product on Saturday to use as an occasional exfoliater. I used it once, and my entire face and neck is red, irritated, bumpy and itchy. Again, I used it ONE time. This is a horrible product. I have no clue what to do about the itching and pain.

I love the Hydroboost collection because it does what the name says. BOOST! This smells so good and I use it twice a week to exfoliate my skin. My face is always hydrated and smooth afterwards. I live this product. This is affordable but I wouldn’t say you would be able to buy two products from this collection at the same time.

The packaging for this product too closely resembles your Eye Makeup Remover Lotion, creating a potential for confusion (at least for those of us who might not be totally awake when grabbing things in the shower) that could be harmful. I'll stick with your tried and true lotion for now.

After using this cleanser for just 2 days, I developed a severe allergic reaction on my eyes and face. I have used the Hydro Boost Gel Moisturizer for about a year so I thought this product would be safe to try. On the first day, I washed my face at night and woke up the next day with one very swollen eyelid that I had to ice it all day. On day 2 I didn’t use the face wash and the swelling started to go down by bedtime. The next day it was gone. I didn’t connect the dots until the 2nd use of this face wash. I woke up on day 3 used the face wash at night and boom, day 3 my entire face was swollen, had a rash, and both eyelids were almost swollen shut. After doing some googling, I found that many others had the same issue as me with this exact product. I love Neutrogena products but I have now had allergic reactions to two of their facial cleansers.

I was using Nutrogena Deep Clean Exfoliating Cleanser for many years and I decided to try this one, as I thought it would work better to hydrate my skin. Unfortunately after a few days, I had similar negative reactions - burning sensation, redness, rash and peeling skin all over my face. I have since stopped using it and it is slowly improving, went back to the Deep Clean cleanser followed by CeraVe moisturizing lotion, twice a day. Just a warning that it may work for some but not everyone.

i love how smooth this leaves my skin! it’s gentle enough to for everyday use which is a plus! Using this along with the cleansing gel is the perfect combo. I have always use neutrogena to cleanse my face but i think the hydroboost line is my favorite to date especially for my skin type since i have dry skin.

I really enjoy this product it is not hard on the skin despite it having little rocks inside if that helps exfoliate the skin properly. It has a nice smell to it and can def feel the hydration after you rinse of the product. I also like that it foams as you scrub you face indicating that you have cleanse your face properly. Will def buy again. I use this everyday as a morning routine.
