We recently bought this grind+brew as a replacement for a similar Cuisinart device we had used daily for about 10+ years. It's easy to operate and has worked well for us; much less countertop mess than in the distant past when we had to rely on a separate grinder. My daughter favors the pour-over process, but we aren't such coffee connoisseurs that I could really say how the quality compares.

I have owned Cuisinart grind and brew coffee pots for years. After wearing the last one out, I moved up a model to the Burr grinder. It took me a couple of days to get used to the new operations, but after that, it was gold! Easier to clean and the large holding area that allows you to fill it up with beans then just use them by how much coffee you want that day is a great addition. I highly recommend this pot.

This machine makes delicious coffee whether you have it grind your beans or use already ground beans. However, the filter basket seems small for a machine that can supposedly make 12 cups. We make up to 10 and, if it grinds the beans on extra bold setting, that pretty much fills the filter basket. I don't really see how it could make 12 without overflowing. Additional, experimentation has revealed that the foil filter it comes with works much better if you have the machine grind your beans. Paper filters work fine for already ground coffee and for up to 8 cups of machine-ground coffee. A slightly larger filter basket would be a good improvement.

Works great. Makes my morning coffee just as I like it. Easy to use if you’re the type to read the manual. Super easy to clean and program. My last Grind & Brew had a stainless steel body, this one is black plastic and doesn’t look as nice, but overall, really like this machine! My daughter bought a much higher end Grind and Brew and returned it because it was so complicated to use. She went back to the Cuisinart as well

This is an awesome kitchen appliance. The grinder is a quality burr grinder, which does a great job. The quality of fresh coffee we brew every morning can be simply controlled via the brewer settings and every pot is perfect. As long as we use qualify beans and fresh water. If I had one complaint, it would be regarding a cleaning issue. The bean hopper's feed tube cover is fixed, certainly intended to protect the user from accidental human exposure. But the fact that this guard isn’t removable makes properly cleaning the grinder feed tube, impossible. This model coffee maker was a replacement for our Cuisinart DGB700, which had a removable hopper and we used for years, until the grinder motor gave up. But we're on our second unit already. You just can't clean the feeder properly, it eventually stops feeding the coffee beans and can't be repaired. If the manufacturer would simply make the grinder feed tube guard removable for cleaning, this new model would earn 5 stars from me!

BEST coffee maker I’ve ever had bar none…..brews the perfect cup everytime, and it’s the freshest cup of coffee you’ll ever have with grinding the beans….The Burr Grinder is actually pretty quiet as well, it won’t wake the neighbors when it’s programmed for early morning! Great job yet again Cuisinart!

I've grinding and brewing whole bean for a while now, the pandemic only increased my consumption to the point I wore out my previous maker. This time, I wanted one that would grind and brew per a timer, therefore the freshest brew I can manage. This model hits on all points. Simply the best home coffee I have ever brewed, and consistently so. The filter and filter housing are easy to clean, and that is pretty much all the love this maker needs. Everything has shortcomings, and these are pretty petty: (1) I wish there was a bean-hopper extension to increase the bean capacity (I did say I brew a loooot), and related, (2) it does seem to grind a bit more than necessary, so I go through my bean a bit faster than expected. I had to dig a bit for those shortcomings. Excellent maker.

Horrible. Even at 10 cups it overflows leaving leaking mess all over the counter. Sediment and grounds everywhere. EXTREMELY hard to close. I have owned a few DGB-800's and have NEVER had the problems like I experienced with this recent iteration. Returned to store. Won't buy another

Product leaked after a short period of time. This is our 4th grind and brew. Waiting for a replacement unit since it is still under warranty. Unfortunately they are not sending until I cut the cord and send a picture. The unit still works although leaking. We don’t have another machine so it would be nice if we had the replacement before disabling the only machine we have. :(

We had an older grind and brew Cuisinart that worked well, but after 10+ years the grind system began to get intermittent. We liked it enough to upgrade to the latest version. We loved the thermal carafe of the older model, but the new model keeps the glass carafe and coffee hot for up to 4 hours without making the coffee taste burned. With the dual adjustments of strength and number of cups, you can find your perfect cup of coffee within a few brews. We highly recommend this coffee maker.
