Purchased this Cuisinart burr grinder, coffee maker, roughly 2 months ago that had problems with plastic in the actual system and did not work… We returned and replaced it thinking it was a fluke… Have had the new replacement model for approximately 7 weeks and this unit is now failing… It just beeps and tones us even though we followed the instructions to correct the problem. It takes quite the battle in the morning to get our coffee. Unplug, off, on , change settings.. nothing works. The only fix is to turn it off for 30 minutes and restart. We are returning the second unit for we have been unsatisfied with the quality. So disappointed in the quality of this unit.

You start with 12 cups of water. The pot leaks a cup of water as you pour it into the machine. After brewing, the pot leaks another cup of coffee all over the counter...not so great for granite! So you have 10 cups, not enough for the the family, and a mess. Other than that, the coffee is good, and the bean hopper functions well.

Cuisinart's quality has seriously declined since they began making their products overseas several years ago. I've always been a Cuisinart buyer for kitchen appliances [griddler, coffee bean burr grinder, immersion blender, toaster, and coffee makers]. This coffee maker, after five months of daily use, would stop brewing after only two cups. Then, it would restart a few minutes later. But, it would take up to one-half hour to finish brewing the full 12 cups. This is the "new and improved" DGB 800 series that replaced the DGB 700 series. They look very similar, however, the older 700 series is superior. You can clean the burr grinder on the 700, you can't on the 800. You start brewing by pressing one button. The 800 requires two. The coffee basket on the 700 prevents grounds from overflowing into the pot on full 12 cup batches. The 800 always passes some grounds into the pot. I purchased this on Sam's Club because it was on a special during the Holiday season. It was a newer model than the Cusinart avaliable at Sams Club's competitor warehouse store. I returned this coffee maker. Due to Sams Clubs return policy, I got a full refund, no questions asked. I wound up purchasing the older model from the competitor. It brews better, stronger coffee without grounds getting into the pot. We'll see if it is of better build quality as time goes on. [I've has similar quality problems with other recent Cuisinart Coffee Maker models as well.]

Great product, but it's hard to figure out at first. Love it for convenience

I like this coffee maker. It uses a lot of beans when grinding your own. So I use ground coffee

Terrible. Returned it and got a refund. It leaked all over the place the first time I used it.

Delicious coffee! Burr grinder is much better than standard grinder. Worth the upgrade. Easy to use and clean.

Even on strongest setting, it grinds weak coffee. The pouring pot is also leaky. Will be reaching out to get a replacement part for that.

Better than high dollar brewers, no problems with grinder clogging drops right into cup filter! We love it!
