Just like many of the reviews states the carafe design is horrible. About 20% of the coffee leaks out from the plastic banding around the top of the glass carafe. Did they not test the carafe design before they put the machine out on market? Looks like the only option is to return the machine. Cuisinart wouldn't send a new carafe even though the machine is less than 1 week old.

grinder as part of the coffee maker is amazing but I read the reviews that this was quieter than separate grinders and it is not. quite loud, and the grounds catcher overfills over the filters which isn't super awesome for cleaning up quickly. but it works, makes coffee and grinds the beans

Maybe it's my fault for buying Eight O'Clock medium roasted but there are 3 levels of strength and the highest makes a weak cup of coffee. Disappointingly weak. I don't know if there's a work around but I can't find it. I'll update this after I buy a quality dark roast and try that.

No hassle clean up like the previous grind & brew. I love the way the water flushes out the grains from the burr.

Wouldn’t grind - returned. Disappointed - really wanted the grind/brew combo. Would like a replacement but no longer available.

This is the second Burr Grind and Brew I've bought from Cuisinart. First one lasted 6.5 years. Makes a great cup of coffee. Love it!!!

Coffe grounds regularly overflow the filter, noisy, no way to clean the chute. I had an older model that I preferred. Not recommended.

Makes great coffee and is very easy to use. Takes a couple of steps out of really good coffee. I love it.
