This is a wonderful machine. The quality of coffee it makes is great. We replaced it once but that is because it was alerting to be cleaned and we ignored the alert. After about 6 months of the alert, it finally needed to get replaced. I bought another one and will do better

I like that I can use either whole bean or ground coffee. It will hold a large(about 1/2 lb) of whole beans. No need to fill it every day. You can adjust the strength for that perfect cup. Set up and cleaning the filter holder and carafe are easy. The grinder is quiet, unlike other whole bean grinders. I would definitely recommend this coffee pot.

The grinder stopped working after about 11 months. I think steam got into the grinder area and caused it to get gunked up. I removed all of the gunked-up debris using a paper towel and the brush provided. I tried to test it at least 6 times, with a small amount of whole beans. It would attempt to grind the beans, grind a very small amount and then stop.

I always thought I was getting good coffee until I purchased this new model. Now, I'm getting great coffee! I've been using the older model Grind and Brew with the blade grinder for many, many years. They each lasted from 2 to 4 years before replacement. The older model was a pain to clean after each brew. Cuisinart has made some great improvements. This new model makes much better coffee, is easier to use, and is very easy to clean.

This coffee maker is very simple to use and it produces a very consistent and delicious pot of coffee. I’ve owned two other brands of grind and brew coffeemakers and the Cuisinart far exceeds them in quality of construction and overall quality. Very pleased.

Love this coffee maker. Just keep whole beans in the hopper, turn it on and dial the number of cups you want and press *brew.* It then measures the beans, grinds them and makes your coffee. I haven’t used the timer because I get up at different times in the morning. I gave my ground coffee away so I haven’t tried ground coffee with this, but just smelling the beans in the kitchen even without the maker brewing is great. The pieces are easy to clean. One thing. The numbers on the pot are so light it’s hard to know where the water level you want is. So I used a permanent black marker to put a small line where the water level should be. Highly recommend this coffee maker. It’s worth the price. I’m the only coffee drinker in the house and brew 4 cups for myself. I used a 2 lb bag of beans in a little over a month.

I bought this as a replacement for the previous generation. This unit is quieter, and has a basket that is easier to clean. However, more grounds make it through the filter, the only choice for a carafe is glass (I had an insulate one before and it does not work with this updated model). Be careful when you place the carafe in, if it isn't seated properly, it leaks. I've had to clean my counter twice. This model is also mostly plastic on the outside and looks cheap compared to the model I had with a stainless exterior. The old model lasted 10+ years. let's see if this one can keep up. Oh, and you cannot get these coffee makers fixed. The entire machine must be replaced when something goes wrong. I expected more from my Cuisinart.

Right now, I am not very happy with my product! My clock gains time daily, so I cannot use the auto function to have coffee ready at a given time. So far, customer service is nil!!! I also don't like the fact that I can only make even number of cups… like 2, 4, 6.I paid way too much for this to have it not work properly !

I'd give it 6 stars. Fresh ground coffee almost makes me enjoy mornings. I'm trying all the different kinds and flavor of beans they offer. It works better than expected. I looked for a couple of years for one that would grind and brew, but the only ones I found were very expensive. I don't know if this is a new product or not but sure glad I found it - price is very spot on

This is my 3rd or 4th grind and brew. The design has completely changed in the new one. You don’t have to clean the parts anymore which could go in the dishwasher, so it was no problem. It never left grounds in the pot. The new one does leave grounds in the pot and scattered in the machine. It does not hold as many beans in the hopper, so you have to fill it often. The carafe retains water in the top rim. I loved my former ones!!! I’m sorry the design has been changed.
