I've grinding and brewing whole bean for a while now, the pandemic only increased my consumption to the point I wore out my previous maker. This time, I wanted one that would grind and brew per a timer, therefore the freshest brew I can manage. This model hits on all points. Simply the best home coffee I have ever brewed, and consistently so. The filter and filter housing are easy to clean, and that is pretty much all the love this maker needs. Everything has shortcomings, and these are pretty petty: (1) I wish there was a bean-hopper extension to increase the bean capacity (I did say I brew a loooot), and related, (2) it does seem to grind a bit more than necessary, so I go through my bean a bit faster than expected. I had to dig a bit for those shortcomings. Excellent maker.

This was a replacement for a similar model that I had for over ten years that started leaking for some reason. I love being able to set up my morning coffee with fresh ground beans and have it waiting for me when I get up. This model is even easier to keep clean also, as a coffee snob, I highly recommend it

I have had a different make grind and brew for many years. When it broke the reviews on its replacement were not good. I had had a Cuisinart many years ago so I decided to try this model. It’s easy to use and makes hot delicious coffee. I like the shape of the coffee pot and it’s easy to wash and dry. My only negative feedback is the small size of the basket which doesn’t seem to be big enough to brew 12 cups of coffee. I usually only make 6 cups at a time so it hasn’t been a problem for me.

This is my third Burr Grind & Brew 12 Cup Coffee Maker by Cuisinart. I have enjoyed all of them. The machine is excellently made and the coffee is excellent and it is kept hot ! I have to comment on this redesigned Model, it has excellent features. Not only is the programing more high tec, a bit of a learning curve. More importantly, the new design is much easier to clean the Grinder. This maintenance has to be done often to insure that the Burr grinder is working properly . Also, the basket for the ground coffee has a new design and it too is excellent. I am very happy with my purchase ! I do know that Cuisinart stands behind their products and their Warranty is excellent.

Efficient and convenient but not high quality materials. Too much plastic. The bean caddy for the grinder is too small (IMHO). The carafe should be insulated rather than thin glass. Not worth the investment. Should have stuck with my old percolator or Bialetti Moka.

Works great. Makes my morning coffee just as I like it. Easy to use if you’re the type to read the manual. Super easy to clean and program. My last Grind & Brew had a stainless steel body, this one is black plastic and doesn’t look as nice, but overall, really like this machine! My daughter bought a much higher end Grind and Brew and returned it because it was so complicated to use. She went back to the Cuisinart as well

Pros: This coffeemaker makes very good coffee. Can use either whole beans, grounds or combo. Can make smaller batches as good as full pot. Cons: Very finnicky setting controls. Clock runs fast...have to keep resetting to correct time. Program mode woks ork, but trying to start earlier than planned is cumbersome. Sometime grinds beans twice when starting manually...makes coffee too strong, plugs basket. All in all...good coffee taste is worth bit of trouble, but there may be better choices out there.

Love this coffee maker. Just keep whole beans in the hopper, turn it on and dial the number of cups you want and press *brew.* It then measures the beans, grinds them and makes your coffee. I haven’t used the timer because I get up at different times in the morning. I gave my ground coffee away so I haven’t tried ground coffee with this, but just smelling the beans in the kitchen even without the maker brewing is great. The pieces are easy to clean. One thing. The numbers on the pot are so light it’s hard to know where the water level you want is. So I used a permanent black marker to put a small line where the water level should be. Highly recommend this coffee maker. It’s worth the price. I’m the only coffee drinker in the house and brew 4 cups for myself. I used a 2 lb bag of beans in a little over a month.

BEST coffee maker I’ve ever had bar none…..brews the perfect cup everytime, and it’s the freshest cup of coffee you’ll ever have with grinding the beans….The Burr Grinder is actually pretty quiet as well, it won’t wake the neighbors when it’s programmed for early morning! Great job yet again Cuisinart!

This coffee maker uses a tremendous amount of beans to brew a weak pot of coffee, even when set on strongest strength. The burr grinds the coffee very chunky (probably so it doesn't clog up the system) but because of this, it needs to grind a lot more to make a kind of weak pot of coffee. There is no option to adjust the grind.
