This is my 3rd grind and brew coffeemaker. The other 3 had several problems. Cuisinart knocked it out of the park with this one. Doesn't have a lot of steam escaping, which is nice for the cupboards.Not too much I would change, except the lid to the water reservoir is super smooth, which makes it difficult to get past the break over point. It needs a slight knurl on it or a slight lip on the top to facilitate lifting it to fill the reservoir.

I enjoy the coffee that this grind and brew delivers. It is always consistent and can vary depending on your selection of brew strengths. The only downside to it is how loud the grinding mechanism is. Otherwise it would be a 5 star. I had a 3 year old grind and brew 800 model. Staying with this unit as i have loved its performance and reliability.

This coffeemaker makes a great tasting cup of coffee. I program the timer the night before I go to sleep. When I wake up in the morning, the coffee has begun to brew while I’m getting ready for my day. When I’m ready to walk out the door in the morning, my coffee is ready, hot and delicious!

The coffee it makes is wonderful. This is #2 machine for us. The first one had a LED screen too faint to see the info on it. The replacement stays warm only one hour, not the two hours stated in the user manual. But...it does make lovely coffee. We'll put up with it for the lovely coffee.

Awesome coffee machine with built in grinder. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to a bad design on the carafe. It's a dribble pot as the plastic is not sealed to the glass part of the carafe. You have to pour your cup over the sink otherwise you have a mess to clean. Cusinart did send us a new carafe after we reported the problem, but the new one does the same thing. Dribble, heavily.

This model combines the convenience of burr grinding and brewing in one simple step. The burr grinding is a coffee aficionado's preferred method (over blade grinding).The coffee comes out tasting superb. There is a strength control which I maintain at strong. This accompanied with Cuisinart style makes the coffee maker attractive as well. Style and performance combined in one package can't be beat. The only thing I would prefer is for the bean hopper to have a larger capacity. I can get two 12 cup pot fulls before the beans drop too low for a third. But, maintaining it is not a chore. I keep a stylish glass container with bamboo lid filled with beans next to the coffee maker making top offs easy.

Coffee tastes very smooth. Trying to program it to make 4 cups doesn't work . Have to at least fill to the 6 cup line. Wish it was a little less noisy in the am when others are trying to sleep. 1st carafe leaked around the plastic and glass. Had to be sent another one. So far, so good.

This was a replacement for a much older grind and brew that would no longer grind. New doesn't always mean better. This machine is so much of a down grade from the leaky carafe to the grinder not making small grind ( large grind and bitter) also not grinding enough coffee bean to match the strength setting. As an example I have to pre grind a4 cup stop the machine from brewing and then grind a 12 cup on the strong strength setting. sucks that I can't get a cup of coffee the strength I want from this over priced thing

I'd give it 6 stars. Fresh ground coffee almost makes me enjoy mornings. I'm trying all the different kinds and flavor of beans they offer. It works better than expected. I looked for a couple of years for one that would grind and brew, but the only ones I found were very expensive. I don't know if this is a new product or not but sure glad I found it - price is very spot on

I love my new Cuisinart Burr Grind & Brew™ 12-Cup Coffeemaker! It makes delicious coffee and is easy to use and clean. I’ve setup the automatic brew feature so it’s ready for us when we get up each morning. I love the smell of coffee brewing as we walk in the kitchen! So glad I choose this brand and model. Having coffee from freshly ground every morning is pure heaven!
