I like smoked foods and so does my fiance but we did Not enjoy this turkey. My fiance said the leg meat was almost sweet and it just did not taste like something actually smoked. The pink color to the "dark" meat was also off-putting despite me cooking it for much longer than the directions said. Luckily it was just for my fiance and myself, but it was a waste of $40! The only way I could get it to taste somewhat decent next day was to pretty much char it under the broiler with a decent amount of Herbs to try to mask the weird liquid smoke taste. Now we know it's Not worth the money.

i have been purchasing these turkeys for the last 4 years for Thanksgiving and they are the best,i souve mine for 12 ,then put in fridge once it cools down then put on my smoker Thanksgiving morning for about 4 hours to heat it up,my family loves it,they said it's the best they ever ate

I started to walk past this turkey. I have had other brands and they had an artificial taste but this one was so delicious, so tender and so so easy to prepare. Took it to a family gathering and got so many compliments on taste and questions about where I got it. Everyone thought I smoked this turkey myself. It is definitely worth the purchase.

I will not use any other turkey for Thanksgiving but this one. I made one last year and it was a big hit. My husband is a ham guy and preferred this turkey over ham! It is so easy to make you don't just have to save it for Thanksgiving. More time spent with the family instead of in the kitchen basting a turkey for hours.

The Smoked Turkey is totally different than a fresh turkey in many ways, if this is your first smoked turkey, many stores offer it. Sam's is good. Reviews are personal and hard to determine if a smoked turkey is exactly what you like. I liked it, didn't find any problems with taste color fully done or any of the mentions in some of the reviews. I highly recommend you try it, then you will know exactly what your recommendations would be for Sam's Smoked Turkey. I found it very good and say buy one let us know what your opinion is.

This turkey was delicious and super easy to cook. I will purchase again. I don't love cooking large meats like this, and this one you just take it out of the package and warm it in the oven. Our turkey was 12 lbs and served 12 people. Great item, highly recommend.

When I tell you, this is the best turkey I have ever had, I am not joking. I don't even like turkey for the holidays in general, but this turkey changed my mind. It has a nice smoked flavor similar to a smoked ham. As long as Sam's continues to sell these, I will continue to buy them every year. I promise you will not be disappointed.

These are super easy to prepare, and truly delicious. They are gluten free, and didn't cause any reactions in my very sensitive celiac daughter. They are a seasonal item, so I actually bought 7 to stock my freezer, because we love them so much. 10/10 Recommend.

This turkey was fantastic! Everyone loved it. The smoke flavor penetrated all the way through so every bite was moist and delicious. Seriously, the best turkey we've had in years. Easy to heat up. Fed 6 people with plenty of leftovers. We will definitely do this again next year.

Not sure why everyone raves about this turkey. It tastes like ham with a weird texture. It was so awful we ended up throwing it in the trash. Judging by how many were left in the store after Thanksgiving, we're not the only ones that do not care for it. They were marked down and were practically giving them away.
