It's much softer than Angel soft and the cost isn't that much of a difference! The big difference is the gentle softness on your bum while wiping!! Charmin has been my family's only tissue since it first became available. Back to the days of Mr Whipple. (Btw, I miss him). I was traumatized by the pandemic when all tissue became extinct. Well, you would of thought I was making my family wipe there soft bottoms with a tree bark. Will only buy Charmin, even though no coupons available. Would much rather have our entire family happy. The three us have a pack not to let our husbands shop for toilet paper due to past experience. They choose the cheapest and largest package. I was very excited to receive the four roll pack in the mail from Charmin. I changed out the roll that was in the bathroom to begin the testing. Once again Charmin has hit a jackpot with their product. It is soft, sturdy, and no need to use over five squares. My husband was able to tell the difference. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the softest toilet paper that I have ever tried. However in addition to being super soft on those sensitive areas, it is super strong! Many soft toilet papers I have tried in the past have torn apart on use, but Charmin Ultra Soft does not! Charmin Ultra Soft will be the only TP we use in my home in the future.

The amazing shrinking Charmin - the first Mega rolls were truly Mega. Then they narrowed, and started falling off our tissue holder. We adjusted the holder, but the Mega rolls kept getting smaller and smaller. Now the rolls have narrowed again, prompting one to wonder if soon we'll be flossing with Charmin - what a mental picture that brings to mind! However, the last purchase was the worst - the so-called "Ultra-Strong" tissue was as thin as the thinnest single-ply tissue. The embossing was exaggerated to make the tissue appear thicker, and the rolls were loosely rolled to make them look larger. I've been loyal to the Charmin product through many changes, but P & G has stretched my loyalty to the limits, and I will no longer buy the Charmin products.
