[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Soft is the softest toilet tissue ever. The mega roll is so big it lasts longer, so less changing the roll. It's so soft it makes you want to use it as facial tissue so you can feel the softness when you blow your nose too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free 4 pack of Charmin Ultra Soft from Charmin. My husband usually buys toilet paper in bulk from a warehouse store. Although we get a lot at once (36 rolls) we seem to go through it quickly. After trying Charmin Ultra Soft, I can see that each roll will last a longer time. The reason is the thickness and softness. You really do not need to use as many squares per wipe! The quality is apparent. Comparing the new Charmin Ultra Soft to the warehouse bargain brand, the Charmin wins out. It is very plush feeling. So soft that I don't mind using it instead of tissues for my children's faces/noses. Also, unlike many other soft feeling toilet papers, Charmin Ultra Soft does not fall apart or turn into little pilly balls when it gets wet. The only potentially negative thing that I noticed with the Charmin is the width of the roll. The Charmin Ultra Soft is 4 inches across. Whereas the warehouse brand that we usually buy is 4.5 inches across. I'm not sure which width is standard, as these are the only two brands we have in the house at the moment. However, I'm accustomed to seeing the 4.5 inch width in the toilet paper holder. So the new Charmin 4 inch roll looks a little "loose" on the holder. Certainly, the missing half of an inch does not affect the quality and feel of the Charmin. It is unnoticeable during actual use of the toilet paper. Just thought I would mention it because it is noticeable in the holder when switching from a 4.5 inch roll. I would most definitely purchase Charmin Ultra Soft. It's the "good toilet paper", the kind to stock when having a party or houseguests!

My husband prefers this toilet paper over other name brands and store brands. I find it to be comparable to similar store brands, though. The price for this product is high, in my opinion, and it might be cheaper to wipe my bottom with actual money. However, I guess we'll stick with this paper for now.

After receiving Charmin Ultra Soft from Charmin, I found out what I have been missing. Their claim that you can use less is actually true. I found that I could use quite a bit less because the paper is a little thicker and much softer than my current brand. I have always been concerned about clogging issues, but so far there have not been any issues. I really do not foresee any issues either, because I am using less paper than before. Overall I am very pleased with this product and the softness it provides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just used the Charmin and love the plush rolls and the soft feel of the tissue against the skin. The thickness of the paper allows for less usage and makes the roll last a long time on the roller. Everyone should love the softness of Charmin against their skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved the Charmin Ultra soft. I really like how I didnt have to use a big o wad to do the job. My only complaint would not be Charmins fault, buy my son still use alot so it clogs the toilet sometime.

It appears that the mega roll isn't really mega anymore. I loved the mega roll because I only had to buy twice a month. Now with this new NON-Mega, mega I'll have to either buy more often or find another product that is the size of the former mega. Disappointed because I've been using Charmin for over 15 yrs. and loved when they came out with the mega rolls.

As of March 2014, Charmin Ultra Soft is a great product. Desirable Qualities in a toilet paper are: Absorbency Lack of abrasiveness Strength Lack of dustiness Right now, Charmin Ultra Soft has all four of these qualities. We can only hope that they won't change it again to reduce production costs or because someone thinks that change for the sake of change is good. Until about 6 months ago, Charmin Ultra Strong was the best product out there. Six months or so ago, they changed Ultra Strong to reduce its absorbency and increase its abrasiveness. I can't imagine why they did this, but it isn't any good anymore. Fortunately, at the same time they made Ultra Soft stronger and less dusty so it is now a great product . . . until they change it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to use too much tp according to my hubby, with the Charmin Ultra Soft, I was conscious of using less, and i did not miss a thing! I liked the Mega roll, it lasted forever and I appreciate less waste from empty rolls. As far as toilet paper goes, this is the softest and strongest I have used.
