[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Soft is just that, ULTRA soft! We loved giving this sample a try, and it was a nice luxurious addition to our bathroom. The paper is also quite thick, which meant we didn't have to use as much as we would with a bargain 1-ply brand. I do wish that the rolls were a little thicker, as they seemed to go fast, but other than that, we loved this toilet paper and will be purchasing it in the future!

I was sent a free sample pack from Charmin and my whole family agreed that it was soft and thick and very obsorbant! It did not tear like other toilet paper does! I also loved the mega roll size that takes up less space. Our family will only use Charmin ultra soft! Thanks Charmin!

Love your tissue, hate your commercials. I am 72 years old and would rather watch endless social security commercials that those bears shaking their butts and talking about being clean. Bears live in the woods, brag their butts on the ground or rub them on tree trunk if there dirty or itch. Just advertise it as doing a good job, being soft and strong dump the red and blue bears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my package of Charmin Ultra Soft today! Charmin Ultra Soft is awesomely durable, yet soft, and gives you a confident feeling of clean. Because of the thick, two-ply cushioning, you'll find that you need to use less. It is also soft enough to remove eye makeup, or use as a tissue if you have a cold. It will not irritate you or shred like other brands...just give you a superior feeling of cleanliness. It is worth a few extra pennies to feel like a queen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I anxiously awaited my sample package from Charmin so b I could try the Ulta Soft and my waiting was well worth it! I have always used Angel Soft toilet paper but NO MORE! The Ultra Soft was so soft on my rush that I couldn't imagine using another brand of toilet paper. If you have ever wondered about this toilet paper but never chose to buy it I suggest you change your mind. I was always skeptical because I've used the same brand for so many years and it may have been more if I had not tried my sample.

Why would Charmin continue to compare their 2-ply brand against Scott 1000 sheet 1-ply? Anyone who would buy Charmin based upon your commercials has to be simple as it would be a miracle for any 1-ply to measure up. The test (if actually conducted) is a sincere waste of your money, but gladly your customers must be happy that you passed it on to them. When the Father bear complains about the cheap brand being too thin, I always advise him to do what most poor people do and fold it. Obviously, he is part of the rich Charmin producers who can afford to waste their money and complain about the crap sticking to his fur. Let him in a secret he should know, in his case especially, pinch, don't wipe. wiping just spread it more. Also, is this bear family related to the Disney and AA Milne bear, Winnie the Pooh?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was usually a Charmin Basic user and liked it (but had to change rolls too frequently). Upon using my 1st roll of Charmain Ultra Soft from the brand, it barely fit in the wall tp holder - it was such a mega thick roll. But my experience gets much better-- Charmain Ultra Soft is so amazingly soft and thick (it's almost cloth-like). It's extremely gentle and very effective in doing its task. I'm using so much less tp - a pleasure to have a roll last approx. 4x longer. And, I must repeat, how soft and thick it is. It's a winner!! My tush thanks you and my guests think so too (more on that later).

My 10 yr old son came home from school and that's always the first place he goes. He came out and told asked me if I got a different toilet paper "cause it's soft." I told him I did and he said it would be good for nose blowing too! I tried it later and boy was he right! I also noticed that it flushed very easily and since it is so thick you don't have to use as much. I will definatley buy this product

Even though we do not have a septic tank, my husband swears that soft toilet tissue clogs our drain. We have to use the cheap brand that is super thin. For my family, it was a real luxury having an ultra thick and plush toilet paper! The four rolls were enjoyed by every one of us! It was disappointing to have it come to an end. The good news is that our sewer never clogged up when we used the Charmin Ultra Soft tissue paper. I am anxious to purchase more at the store!

Just got my first pack of Ultra Soft with the wavy so called "Smooth Tear" feature.  I see others complaining it's not as soft as before but I don't agree with that.  I'm not "enjoying the go" anymore because newly developed elegant "Smooth Tear" perforation is not working for me.  First, I can't even see where the perforations are so I don't know where it will tear.  Second, it strongly resists tearing and may tear anywhere leaving a shredded mess.  Third, the perferations don't seem to always be evenly spaced, thereby interfering with trying to tear just one sheet.  Forth, I rarely get a clean, smooth tear and I rarely had that issue with the straight tear previous version.  The only thing special about this innovation is that I will be driven to an alternative product or maybe put a pair of scissors nearby for a smooth CUT!!!
