What is amazing though are the capsules themselves. They don't taste gross! Most Omega-3 supplements are either synthetic tasting, fishy tasting, or both. These are neither, they go down easy, and that's honestly the #1 impediment to taking supplements regularly.

They are made with a plant-based algae oil derived from algae grown in a controlled lab without harvesting marine life. The essential fatty acid DHA and EPA help support our body's brain, eye and heart functions and overall health. These have a high potency of 1,470 mg and are in a easy to swallow gel cap. As someone with an autoimmune disease, it's essential for me to take these vitamins for my health, so I really enjoy that there is no fishy smell or fishy aftertaste when you burp or swallow them. Will definitely be switching to Ocean friendly Omega-3.

Some other brands for Omega 3 leave me feeling burpy and gross after taking it but I can safely say that Youtheory's Ocean-Friendly Omega did not. My only complaint is that I don't like having to take multiple pills for the same thing. I wish it was just one bigger pill, but other than that, I enjoyed trying out this product and would buy it again!
