This is my first ever robot vacuum cleaner but certainly not going to be my last one. Maintenance becomes easier due to the fact that it compresses dust inside to make room and the claim looks believable that you can go at least few months without the need to empty it. It takes about two hours to charge and it can run for about 1.5 hours before needing recharge for an average sized one bedroom apartment. The ability to mop a floor is a huge plus.

The mapping process was really quiet so that was nice but when you actually use this product, it is really loud. We were trying to watch a show and I had to turn the volume up on the TV because the robot was quite loud. It seemed to have done the job while vacuuming so this will be a nice addition during the week as opposed to always sweeping. it seemed to have issues finding its home. I wonder maybe it'll understand where it's supposed to go once I use it more often. Overall I'm pretty happy with this product I just wish it were a little quieter.

It cleans very well, picks up every little dust and crumbs without missing much and also love that the mop does such a quick refresh. Its so convenient that i always dont have to think of emptying the dust bag and the sleek design makes it look so polished and gives extra space to the room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really impressed with the iRobot Roomba 208 Dust compactor combo robot vacuum & mop the sensor are smart and help it navigate around furniture without getting stuck even in tighter spaces. It does a great job picking up dust and debris, and the mopping feature leaves floors looking fresh and clean. I also love how it is to maintain, and the dust capacity is surprisingly good, so i don't have to to empty it out constantly. Overall it keeps my home really clean and saves me so much time. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster and Irobot sent me this Roomba 208 DustCompactor Combo Robot Vacuum & Mop for free in exchange for my honest thoughts. Let me start with the unboxing, I literally had to check out the box and look it up online because I couldn't for the life of me find the water tank on this little vacuum. I was expecting this large tank on the back of the dock, well not anymore! It's all in one the mop attachment just clicks on the bottom of the Roomba and the water or cleanser is stored inside of it. Ok now back to the vacuum it's the same size as all other robot vacuums, but the dock is a little larger than a cell phone! The vacuum maps out your house avoiding main obstacles and I have to say it does very well with not hitting against everything. The sweeper tucks all the dirt away inside the Roomba and stores it until you empty it, lots of room in there don't worry. The mop sprays out your water or cleaning solution and the microfiber cloth cleans it up. This cloth is machine washable and reusable. The machine even learns your house and where you have carpet and where it needs to mop so that your carpet doesn't get sprayed. Overall this is a great robot vacuum that you can set from your phone to have your floors vacuumed and mopped when you come home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was so easy! I can turn it on through my app when I'm away from home. I have a small apartment it takes about an hour to cover 3 rooms. It sucks up everything it needs to! Super low maintenance and that's the best part of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great when it works, but I've encountered several issues with it. Setup was pretty easy for the most part. It worked great the first time I used it. It got stuck a couple times when I scheduled it to clean while I wasn't home. One time it got ahold of a phone charger that was behind the couch and got caught in it. I'm wondering it that has caused damage to the roller brush. I've noticed the vacuum making a rattling noise sometimes when it is traveling. For a couple days, I was having an issue where the the app wasn't working to start a cleaning route. Like it would only let me manually pressed the power button on the vacuum, not start it from the app. I rebooted a couple times, and remapped my apartment, and it seems to be working okay now. I really enjoy it when it works, but for the price, I'm kinda upset at the issues that I've had with it.

I live in a small apartment and only have the roomba mapped to do my living room/kitchen, and it will still take over 4 hours to complete the job. After 45 minutes of vacuuming it stops to charge for over 2 hours because it won't work under 30% battery. This is just the LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN of a small apartment. Anytime, I have tried to get it to start cleaning again it will go for a few minutes and come right back (even if it's gone up to 60%). Extremely frustrating for an item this expensive. However, it has a strong vacuum and a mop feature. The only thing I don't like about the mop feature is that you can only add water (according by to the instructions), so it's not actually cleaning or disinfecting. It is just spraying water on the floor. Overall, a pretty big letdown. I can't believe at its price it takes over 4 hours to what I can do in about 15 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Roomba!!! Set up instructions were so easy straight out of the box, and really easy to navigate when you get to know the app! I love that I can scan the room & time cleans - it really makes chores so much easier. I am working on navigating some of the barriers given there are levels to the home, but I think that is just a learning curve for me, rather than a product issue. I love that not only is this roomba able to vacuum, but it is able to mop as well, and is pretty quiet for all it can do! Really easy to empty the dust compartment, as there is straight forward directions to do so. Saving me time and energy, this product is everything I could dream of!
