As a house cleaner, the last thing I want to do after a long day of cleaning peoples homes is vacuum my own. The Roomba and its app has made it incredibly simple. The version I received to test in exchange for my honest review has a vacuum and mop setting, which is awesome. I just get home and press the button and it does the work for me. I pick up charging cords so it doesn't suck them up and it's on its way. It doesn't get every single crumb but it definitely helps keep the pug hair at bay. I run it every two or so days and it has really helped keep my floors looking great!

I have to say that setting this up is neither simple nor quick; this is definitely quite time-consuming and a lot more work than I was expecting. It comes with no type of manual; you do have to set it up in the app. I like being able to visually see what I'm supposed to be doing. It does give you some information, but not really on the app. I had to look up information on YouTube because I couldn't figure out why I had certain parts. This also would not register on the dock well on the carpet, even though the carpet really is not super plush. I decided not to do a map and just let it do its own thing. It seems to do a good job without actually going through the whole mapping setup.

It charges quickly , and I used the app to set the timer, and the navigation was easy. I love this gadget! I have allergies, and the Roomba 205 helps keep the dust away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works, but it takes a lot longer to do the job and stops several times throughout the process. I live in a small apartment and only have the roomba mapped to do my living room/kitchen, and it will still take over 4 hours to complete the job. After 45 minutes of vacuuming it stops to charge for over 2 hours because it won't work under 30% battery. This is just the LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN of a small apartment. Anytime, I have tried to get it to start cleaning again it will go for a few minutes and come right back (even if it's gone up to 60%). Extremely frustrating for an item this expensive. However, it has a strong vacuum and a mop feature. The only thing I don't like about the mop feature is that you can only add water (according by to the instructions), so it's not actually cleaning or disinfecting. It is just spraying water on the floor. Overall, a pretty big letdown. I can't believe at its price it takes over 4 hours to what I can do in about 15 minutes.

The robot just moves around and cleans on its own, which makes life easier. The suction is strong enough to pick up dust, crumbs, and small dirt without any issues. My floors look cleaner without me doing much. There's an app on the phone where you can start or stop it, set a schedule, and see where it cleaned. I use it even when I'm not home, which is very convenient. It also has a mopping function. It's not a deep clean, but it helps keep the floors fresh. It's a little noisy, but that's normal for a vacuum like this. Also, I don't know why, but I find it kind of cute haha. Sometimes I just watch it moving around doing its thing.

I also like that I don't have to empty the bin every time because it stores debris for 60 days. The phone app is convenient allowing you to schedule, stop, and start the roomba and setup is also easy. The mop function isn't a deep cleaning mop function, but it is nice to not have to do it yourself. I hate doing floors, but like having my home clean, so it's definitely a nice option to keep floors tidy.
