It charges quickly , and I used the app to set the timer, and the navigation was easy. I love this gadget! I have allergies, and the Roomba 205 helps keep the dust away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It exceeded my expectations, setup was effortless, scan QR code, download app and follow directions. There is no operating booklet in the box all the necessary information via the app. Easy to setup, then charge and let it make a map of the house, so it can clean. I tried both wet and dry and to my surprise it did well. I purposely made the floor messy to see how well it cleaned. I think cleaning everyday will make it even more efficient. I love the part that it goes back to the charging station as the battery gets low. It can clean carpet and floor, quiet and pleasing to look at, aesthetically. Easy to empty trash, sensors are very responsive, cleans the edges well. Compartments are easy to manage and nicely tucked in. Overall a great product especially if you have a pet and a lot of traffic on the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the iRobot® Roomba® 208 DustCompactor Combo Robot Vacuum & Mop for free in exchange for my honest review. The robot just moves around and cleans on its own, which makes life easier. The suction is strong enough to pick up dust, crumbs, and small dirt without any issues. My floors look cleaner without me doing much. There's an app on the phone where you can start or stop it, set a schedule, and see where it cleaned. I use it even when I'm not home, which is very convenient. It also has a mopping function. It's not a deep clean, but it helps keep the floors fresh. It's a little noisy, but that's normal for a vacuum like this. Also, I don't know why, but I find it kind of cute haha. Sometimes I just watch it moving around doing its thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup took some time, possibly user error but overall not to bad! This vacuum was able to get to the hard to get to place! My dog wasn't a fan but I was honestly impressed with how well it picked up scraps and is was silent like a Dyson.

I have to say that setting this up is neither simple nor quick; this is definitely quite time-consuming and a lot more work than I was expecting. It comes with no type of manual; you do have to set it up in the app. I like being able to visually see what I'm supposed to be doing. It does give you some information, but not really on the app. I had to look up information on YouTube because I couldn't figure out why I had certain parts. This also would not register on the dock well on the carpet, even though the carpet really is not super plush. I decided not to do a map and just let it do its own thing. It seems to do a good job without actually going through the whole mapping setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With no readily available MAC address and an unnecessary need to be connected to the internet and know your location, this vacuum is more complicated than necessary. At my house, we use MAC address filtering whitelist to only allow approved devices to connect. I will NOT remove this filter for a vacuum cleaner. You can still kind of use it without connecting, but you must manually start it using the button on top of the unit. Now, on to the maneuverability, this thing got completely stuck in my kitchen, a better design would either have a way of preventing going down a ledge it cannot climb back up, or a mechanism to deal with a rise. The cleaning it was able to do I have no complaints over, but why should I have to connect a vacuum to WiFi or babysit a vacuum that’s supposed to be able to run on its own.

Against my better judgment I purchased this vacuum from Sam's and another from the company website directly - their build quality has consistently deteriorated and I'm now a few months into using this and it cannot hold a charge, cannot go over a rug (even when it's not supposed to be mopping) and makes up its own mind as to whether I scheduled it to mop or just vacuum. I'm not going to warranty it, not going to attempt a return - going to throw into the trash and never purchase an iRobot product ever again! I say against my better judgment as this is now the third vacuum (these two and one I purchased 3-years ago) that did not last a year.
