I thought i was ordering a vaccum it does vacuum so I never used and Sams will not let me return it...
Hello there,

We’re truly sorry to hear about any confusion during your purchase. This is certainly not the experience we want Shark/Ninja customers to have. To clarify, the StainStriker is primarily designed as a carpet cleaner and is not intended to function as a vacuum. We understand that Sam’s Club may not be accepting returns at this time, but we recommend reaching out to them directly to explore any alternative options they might offer.

Kind regards,
Shark Clean
Does amazingly well with filtering out and capturing/releasing dog hair without clogging. The dirty water/ cleaning solution tanks are foolishly small.WHY? If you do large rooms or multiple rooms or a floor of your house it becomes like ground hog day dumping in and cleaning out the dirty tank and filling the solution. it does not last long. we've had ours almost a year and it not won't start when pressing the power button a majority of the time. It has started eventually randomly the last two times but have given up a few times cause it wouldn't start. Returning to Sam's tomorrow but will probably buy another Shark as we do like it overall.
Hello Brian, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear the Carpet Expert has performed well with pet hair, and we understand how frustrating it can be to frequently refill smaller tanks during larger cleaning jobs. We’re also sorry to hear about the power issues you’ve experienced; that’s certainly not expected. Since you’ve had the unit for under a year, our Customer Care team would be happy to help review troubleshooting or warranty options. Feel free to contact us at 1-855-427-5127 (Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 9 PM ET and Saturday: 9 AM to 6 PM ET). We’re here to help. Kind Regards, Shark Home
you will not recieve the model number you ordered.
you are ordering model 304, but that is NOT the model you will recieve. recieved midel 234 - asked for a replacment for the one i actually ordered - replacment was also model 234. model 234 provides less features and DO NOT seperate the hair like advertised. you are getting this for cheaper because it is the older model. Sams club is hoping you dont notice that your model numbers are different. what a scam.
Hi Heidi,

Thank you for your feedback. We’re disappointed to hear about your experience purchasing the CarpetXpert HairPro from Sam’s Club, especially receiving a different model than the one advertised. We understand how frustrating it must be to order one model and receive a replacement with fewer features, particularly when the differences weren’t clearly communicated. Since this purchase was made through Sam’s Club, we recommend contacting Sam’s Club customer support directly to relay your concerns regarding the model discrepancy so they can properly review and address the issue. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope this is resolved for you as soon as possible.

Kind Regards,
Shark Home
As noted by other reviewers the description states this is the EX304 model but the inferior EX234 model is the one they ship out. This model is not a "HairPro" and should not be labelled as such. 3 stars because it was fairly painless to return it after noticing this on the box.
Hi David, thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand how frustrating it can be to receive a different model than expected, especially when specific features played a key role in your purchase decision. While we’re glad to hear the return process went smoothly, we recognize how disappointing this experience must have been. If you ever need product support or assistance obtaining the unit you originally wanted, please feel free to contact our customer service team at 1‑855‑427‑5127, available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. Your concerns have been noted, and we’ll take the appropriate steps to help get this resolved. Kind regards, Shark Home
No clean water rinse option 👎
I purchased this does no one realize this leaves soapy residue on your carpets where is a clean water tank rinse option like the Hoover shampooer you spray water and chemicals they are getting rinsed off then you and your pets are walking on it 👎👎👎👎
Hello Jacqueline,

Thank you for sharing your review. We’re truly sorry to hear that your Shark Stain Striker didn’t meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be when the design and features don’t align with what you were hoping for, especially since there isn’t a clean water rinse option. We'll pass this information onto our development team for future improvements as we truly do value and appreciate your feedback.

Kind regards,
Shark Home
Robot Vacuum disaster
Okay here's a real review of how great this carpet cleaner is. We have a new puppy who is still working on being house broken. Well the robot vacuum got ahold of one of his accidents when I was not home. Let just say it was a brown mess all over the carpet in extra bedroom. Well needless to say after cleaning it three times now all stains are gone and the carpet looks and smells brand new. This carpet cleaner really does work great. Would recommend to anyone.
Exceptional cleaning machine
I've had several carpet shampooers, but this has been the best, by far. Excellent suction and cleaning. Easy to use and operate. I cleaned my thinner rug that was 9' x11' . It was filthy w/ set in dirt and now looks and smells like new.
Just buy it!
I had a Hoover steam cleaner that I bought almost a decade ago when I lived in an apartment that was fully carpeted and I sung the praises of it to everyone I knew. I still have that steam cleaner to this day and I still always felt it did a good job. However, last year I bought a Shark vacuum on instant savings, even though we had a vacuum that I felt did a good job, until I used the Shark and the bin looked as if we hadn't vacuumed in years. After that, I was sold on Shark products and had my sights set on replacing our carpet cleaner. While the price was still pretty steep on Instant Savings, I just knew this thing would blow our current steam cleaner out of the water. And it did! It revived a 4-year-old area rug to as close as brand new as you can get. The pile is fluffy again and there's no dingy tinge to it anymore. The water was almost black, even though we had just steam cleaned it maybe 5 or so months ago, and we do not wear outside shoes in the house nor have pets that go outside or children. I was also disgusted at just how much of our cat's fur it picked up, considering we vacuum every week. It's really getting deep down into the fibers and pulling everything out. It even saved a cream area rug we have in our guest room that my mother destroyed last year by wearing her shoes during a week-long visit. We had steam cleaned it with our Hoover after she left and you could still see the sad grey line running up and down the rug where she regularly walked. This Shark made it disappear and made the rug look good as new. The price is high, yes, but so is the quality. As with every steam cleaner I've ever come across, the tank is frustratingly small. I probably had to empty it at least a dozen times from start to finish on our 8x12 area rug. There's also not an ideal place to grip it when emptying it. The cleaner does have a hard time on higher piles. In fact, when I first turned the machine on, it instantly turned off due to the brush roll not being able to spin on the pile. I got it to work but still ran into the problem a few times while cleaning the rug and would have to turn the machine off and back on again, which is annoying. But the clean the machine provides makes it all worth it, in my opinion. Little tip, unless you're planning on using the hand tools, don't fill the small blue tank with cleaner, as the instructions say. Only the hand tools pull from that tank. So now, annoyingly, an entire bottle of the cleaner is sitting in the tank and who knows when we'll use the hand tools. If you're on the edge about buying this machine, buy it! And if you have pets or kids that track stains, dirt and messes into your home, you definitely need this!
