Sometimes it can be hard to find these black sesame seeds. Especially when you have to have them for a special meal. Well look no more, Sams Club has a lifetime supply (maybe) for just few dollars! Very frsh and could actually taste the sesame seeds unlike some brands i have purchased in the past.

Fresh sesame that is stored airtight and can be ground up pretty easily. The container is a pretty standard size for spices and fits in the cabinet pretty easily. Grinding the seeds down was easy with a grinder and was pretty fresh sesame. Can be easily used on a variety of foods.

First of all, this is a very good value especially for how large the container is. They were super fresh & had a nice nutty taste. A sprinkling of these black sesame seeds really elevate the look of a dish. You eat with your eyes, right? I added them to homemade granola bars and they looked & tasted so good! I toasted some to enhance the flavor & sprinkled on an Asian salmon salad…chef’s kiss!

These are great! I really do like sesame seeds and we typically use white or toasted white seeds, but I've never used the black ones. The flavor is about the same between the two, but the black ones really do add a pop of contrast on otherwise dull dishes. They're really good on steamed eggs.

The Black Sesame Seeds were a different item for me snd I needed to familiarize myself on how best to use. To date I have added to my fried eggs, deviled eggs and salads which added a more "earthy" flavor to both. I will be incorporating the seeds into other sides as I can.

I’m not sure if my taste buds are off, however I did not taste any sesame in these seeds. The color is a bit unappealing, however they do add color to your dish. I think it would definitely make a tuna poke, bagel with cream cheese look pretty. Not a lot of flavor, but definitely will make a dish pop with its color.

These are good in salads or on top of bread when making homemade. If you grind into a paste you can add to humus for an extra flavor. The flavor was ok. Note that this is my first time with this product and have nothing to compare to. I got a hint of smoke or roasted flavor but not overbearing. Nice thing is no fats, carbs, etc.
