This only lasted in our home for 24 hours. In theory this is an amazing vacuum. It worked really well on our hardwood floors but when used on carpet or upholstery the issues started. It seems we got a defective one. I couldn't vacuum our couch or rugs without the vacuum flashing red lights at me and shutting off after 30-60 seconds of run time. I would have just exchanged it but the lady behind the CS counter said that this was one of several that she had seen returned in the last few days due to issues with them.

The theory of this product is OK. But the execution is awful. The automatic emptying feature is what is bad. It gets dirt in the part that closes and it needs cleaning out almost every time I have used it. And it's difficult to get it cleaned out so that it closes again.

I bought this vacuum a month ago. I had a Shark before for about 7 years that I loved. However I was looking for a cordless model because dealing with the cord had become difficult for me. I also wanted to vacuum my kitchen floor more frequently and it was just too much trouble to get out the corded vacuum. This new model was on sale and the reviews looked good. And I could return it to Sam's Club easily if I didn't like it. As it turns out I LOVE this vacuum. It is fun to use and the Auto Empty System is wonderful. One reviewer said it was hard to remove the collection system container. Not so. If you remove the tape that is holding the container in place during shipping, the container removes effortlessly. You will not regret buying this well-priced Shark cordless vacuum with a collection system.

Lightweight. Powerful suction. Easily comes apart to clean and maintain. Detection technology is impressive. Hair doesn't collect around roller. Battery life is less than I want (about 4 hours of moderate to heavy work). Dust canister lid almost always needs closing after auto emptying. This vacuum is my favorite thing that I bought this year. Car is second.

This is a total design disaster. Every time I put the vacuum on the station to suck the dust out, there are debris blocking the vacuum's dust bin cap closing and leave the bin unsealed. You will see dust flying all over the place when you use the vacuum with the dust bin unsealed. Also the button to manually open the dust bin is sensitive(the bin is completely opened just with 1/3 push of the button) located at the extremely easy-to-be-pushed spot, so when you are unaware you will dump all the dust and debris on you and the floor when you are carrying the vacuum after the cleaning. This happened really many times and it is definitely from a stupid design work rather than just clumsy of me.

I bought this back in November 2024 and it is still going strong. I am able to vacuum 2500sqft + house all in one battery. I have two fur machines (Doberman and German shepherd) that make it so I need to vacuum 3 times a week to keep up with these two fur machines. I do have to empty the autocollection bin once a month. I do see some people complain about the suction going out, like when you vacuum up the edge of a rug all you have to do is turn it off and then just restart it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this for a month now, and it's a real poor vacuuming cleaner. It hardly sucks the dust, and after vacuuming many rooms including many rugs, it only have a cuple of dust inside its cup. When i use it it always goes into this lock so i always have to out my feet on to losen it so it can vacuum. Also it only vaccum cleans when you push it forwards, not backwards!! This is not worth the money!
