So far, this is a great, lightweight stick vacuum! I like that you can empty the container each time you "dock" the vacuum with a push of a button. It keeps the container smelling fresh. It's great for bare floors of any kind and works decently on carpet - even a thick pile if you use a little manpower. We've only had it for a month so we will have to wait and see about the life span.

Wow! Very nice and easy to use. I have vinyl plank floors and this is perfect for hard floors. It does well on my rugs too. Not sure I could recommend this for wall to wall carpet.

Yet another Shark masterpiece. My last shark stick cordless lasted me almost 11 years. After watching gocleanco's vacuum Olympics I knew this was the perfect pick. The dust container is small but perfect for the job because of the automatic clean and dump feature. What a beeeze!

This vacuum is awesome. It does a great job on carpeted and hard floors and rugs. The stand is so much more convenient than a previous stick vac I had that needed to be mounted to the wall. I particularly love the auto-clean feature that pulls all the debris out of the vacuum and into the base. It's so much easier to empty and I don't have to take the vac apart to clean it. I have several dogs so clogs have been an issue until now too.

Absolutely love it! I used to have to go to the basement to get the vacuum, bring it upstairs, then unravel the cord just to clean a small area. But now, because it’s so stylish and modern, my Shark Detect is upstairs and ready to go! I can have the whole great room vacuumed before I would’ve even gotten upstairs with my old corded vacuum! The way it empties the canister automatically once placed back on the charging station is impressive as well. Outstanding!

Not sure what i think of this shark sweeper.I had the shark pet vertex before loved it i think it might have been a stronger suction but decided to try something different. Not sure if i care for the detect part the high setting does work well and gets the job done and i also like the docking system empty’s and chargers it so i dont have to worry about charging it.

I love this vacuum, the only thing that I do t care for is when you run it on the rug it skips/jumps up as you are pushing it. Other than that it’s great.

I love this vacuum because it is cordless. It also has lights to detect when the carpet is dirty, which starts at either red or yellow and changes to blue when it is clean. The only downfall is that the battery does not last long even on a full charge. It states that it will last up to an hour and I would say it’s lucky if it runs for 20 minutes before dying. It does have a couple different attachments which are nice for furniture.

Vacuum was ok. I liked the self-emptying feature a lot. The power detect was fine but maybe not necessary. What I didn’t like, and why I ultimately returned it was that it sounded very rickety when using on hard floors. It did not feel or sound smooth. It sounded like it had something caught in the roller even though I double and triple checked. Additionally, it did not last 1 full hour on a full charge. I’m not sure it even lasted 30 minutes. Overall, I did not feel it was worth the price paid for it.

I have owned several Shark products and they have all been long standing until now. This vacuum shuts down to Eco mode and stays there regardless of what I'm vacuuming. I'll have to switch the entire vacuum off and restart it only for it to do it again and again. Eventually it will stay in auto long enough to get the job done. When cleaning out my car or sofa, it just shuts down like the battery is out or the filter is clogged. I've washed the filters every month per the instruction manual so it isn't negligence on our part. The vacuum is only 4 months old and unreliable. It was an absolute waste of money and unfortunately I'm outside the return window. Incredibly disappointing.
