Absolutely love this seat! The fans work really well and keep my baby cool and content in his seat unlike any other seat I have owned. The fabric is very breathable while still being soft and the seat is very lightweight, making it easy to travel with and transfer between cars. Highly recommend!

My toddler and I are very thankful to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this cool (pun intended) seat! My little guy runs quite warm, and my car doesn't have rear air vents, so I'm very excited to have integrated fans that will help him stay cool in the summer. He finds the seat to be very comfortable, and has an easier time getting in and out of it than our previous seat. The seat is very cushy, and includes very soft, extra cushioning for smaller infants. I love how easy it is to remove the cup holders and seat pad for washing, as well as the feel and quality of the materials used. The power cord is slim and unobtrusive, and the positioning on the back of the seat means no little grabby hands will get to it! The seat does ride high, which my toddler loves, but is a bit of a visual blocker in my Honda Fit hatchback. I found adjusting it tough, because it's a bit stiff, but I assume it'll become easier with time. I also struggled to get the seat installed with the LATCH tethers (my preferred method of install), and the lack of a bubble level at this price point seems like an oversight. The lack of bubble level, and the fact that I've only used rigid LATCH in the past, meant that getting a tight, level fit was tough until I had my virtual installation appointment. I learned exactly how to navigate installation smoothly, and because the seat is so light, moving it between cars and reattaching everything will be a breeze now that I know what to do. My favorite feature of the seat is the magnetic, quick release chest clip; it honestly feels revolutionary and I can't believe I was missing out on such an easy to use safety clip. Overall, I'm not in love with the seat - yet. My toddler is very happy, though, and I know that this will be a big win during our hot California summers, so I'm sure I will grow to love the seat with time.

If you live in the south, you need this seat. My kids sweat so bad in the car, and the fans keep their back completely sweat free. My vehicle does not turn the fan off on it's own so I do manually turn the fans on and off. The fabric alone is better than the other Maxi-Cosi seat I own, providing additional air flow. The cup holders are useless for us, neither of the kids water bottles fit unfortunately. The magnetic closer is a breeze to get baby strapped in, which I love! There is no bubble level indicator on the size which is a downside for me, I can't figure out how to get this seat completely level in rear facing mode without reclining it more which would result in moving my front seat further up which doesn't give much leg room for a passenger. I needed my husbands strength to get the seat tightened into the car, I could not pull the straps for the latch system at all. This seat is also much lighter than my other Max-cosi seat, not sure if that is a good or bad thing, just feels a little bit cheaper.

I received the Pria Chill car seat through the my take program. Its a beautiful car seat, with breathable washable fabric, comfortable cushiony seat and venting system for cooling. If you're living in an area with high heat or looking for an all in one car seat to last you through the years, I recommend you consider this one!

I was given this all in one car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our infant carrier was also a Maxi-Cosi, so I was excited to have the opportunity to try it! Before opening the box, I was struck by how light this seat was compared to the all in one seat I was using at the time. The Pria Chill has ample padding; my little one sat in it right out of the box and I literally had to pry her out. She loved it. Installation was much easier than what I had read in other comments. If using the LATCH system, you have to pull at a slightly different angle than with other LATCH installs, but it took only about 10-15 minutes to get it installed. My only complaint is that Maxi-Cosi really needs its car seats to include a level and not just a straight line for reference. Plugging it in, of course, was simple. As for space, we have a Forester Sport with one row in the back. Much like our previous seat, you'd be hard pressed to fit 3 of these across or even to fit 2 adults in the back. We are still in rear facing mode for our 18 month old. Front to back (at level 2 recline), it takes up about an average amount of space. My 6 ft tall husband has plenty of space in the seat in front seat. Little one LOVES the seat. Her face lights up when the fan turns on and she usually is comfortable enough to fall right to sleep. It is currently a mild winter (temps in the 50-60F) but little miss runs warm, so the fan activates often. The fan at top speed is about as loud as a computer fan. It's not disruptive in any way. Much like with her Maxi-Cosi infant seat, I find it difficult to get the straps tight, but it's doable. Sometimes it seems like one side is longer than the other. The magnetic chest clip is a nice touch and very easy. Overall, it's a good seat. It's lightweight, easy to install, toddler seems comfy in it and the fan is a great touch! Minor changes could make it an incredible seat. I'd recommend to those in warm areas of with warm kiddos!

I was sent this car seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel and was excited from the beginning because I love the Maxi Cosi brand. Just like I expected the design and colors are beautiful and it's covered in a thick cushion. It looks exactly like the pictures online. But there is nothing "cooler" than the fan feature. I have an older car without air vents in the back and with a rear facing car seat this is a serious problem. The air never hits my poor baby and it gets hot where I live. I've tried a clip on fan but he just pulls it off and plays with it, if I put it further away he can't feel it. It just doesn't work. Even in California it's not hot enough in December to try out this feature (it will automatically turn on when it detects a certain temperature) but I've turned it on and off and it's really genius. It's a little annoying to have a cord and I would have preferred it to attach to the usb which is closer to the seat but the cord is plenty long. I can't wait to see it in action this summer. The only thing I don't love is the chest clip feature, it's a little trickier and both sets of grandparents can't figure it out haha. Besides that minor problem I totally recommend this car seat. You won't be disappointed.

This seat has been such a game changer for those hot miserable summer days. The 3 speed fans keep my child cool and comfortable, specially being rear facing and not having a direct vent. The fans do have a noise but it's not loud enough to be a pain. My child seems to enjoy it and it's almost like a slight white noise. The shoulder strap are the kind that don't stay up and the buckle pad does slide off occasionally when taking my child out, so they are a pain to always be adjusting. The fabric cleans nicely and I haven't had any problems with staining. The cover is easy to remove and put back on. The mesh fabric isn't as smooth as some of their other fabrics and crumbs can get stuck in the mesh holes. I do understand that it needs to be a fabric that air can flow through so it makes sense but can be frustrating trying to vacuum out. Installing the seat was easy and straight forward. I plugged mine into the 12v plug in my trunk and ran the cord through my seat creases so it stays out of the way and is hidden. The cord is long and can easily reach the front or rear outlet. The on-off indicator light is easy to tell if it is lit up with my rear baby camera. My seat is rear facing so the manual switch is easy to reach. However, in forward facing it might not be as easy to reach. I have a Toyota RAV4 and it fits nicely behind my seat (drivers seat). I currently have two Maxi Cosi seats in the back and everyone in my family fits great. My husband usually rides passenger because it gives him more room with a forward facing seat to put his chair back (he is 6'4). All that to say it's not a gigantic seat and can fit comfortably in a small SUV. Overall, if you love the Maxi Cosi car seats you will not be disappointed with this one!

Thank you to the Stellar Review Testing Panel for providing me with this product! The first thing my son said when he first sat in this car seat was, "Wow, mom! I love it!" My son usually DREADS getting into his car seat, so that says a lot about how comfortable it is! I really enjoy the magnetic chest clip. At first I was hesitant that it would stay clipped but it is sturdy as they come! The overall all look of the car seat is elegant. I really love the colors. The material is extremely breathable and doesn't feel "hot". We haven't yet had a chance to use the fan (since it's so cold where we live) but I'm excited to try it out when the temps get hotter. My son sweats profusely in his old car seats. So this will be great for him! Installing it into our car was a breeze. We didn't have any issues with the installation process. It just takes a little bit of muscle to secure it down to the seat.. But that's with any car seat you get.

This car seat really is amazing! Right away, taking it out of the box, I noticed the quality of the fabrics and finishes. The material used is very lightweight and breathable but also very soft, plush, and comfortable feeling. The colors were also very trendy which is a bonus for us. There were extra padding options for smaller kiddos and babies such as the head rest cushion, a back cushion, and padding that can go underneath the bottom of a small infant so they can fit which is really neat and something I haven't seen before. This car seat has two nice cup holders that are within reach for my toddler which is also a bonus. One of the coolest things about this seat is the magnetic chest clip. It is so simple and just clicks together with no effort, but is also very secure and sturdy. The absolute best part of this car seat is the automatic fan system that comes on it. The seat discreetly plugs into your car outlets and has a fan system that automatically turns on when it is warm outside or in your car. It has three fans throughout the seat to keep your kiddo cool in the car. The fans are pretty quiet as well. There is a light at the top of the headrest that turns on to let you know that the fan system is running. This fan system is really innovative and it's so nice that Maxi Cosi thought of this as it would be super useful to people living in hot areas and during the summer. Installation was also a breeze. I used the latch system to install the seat and it took minutes at most. There are plenty of headrest positions and three different recline options with an easy recline guide on the side of the seat. I would highly recommend this seat to anybody. I love that it can be used from the newborn to booster-aged stage which is a huge plus for anyone buying a car seat. As a mom of two who has been through countless car seats from other brands, this one is hands down my favorite. After testing the car sat for a few months I'll give this a 4 out of 5 stars. Overall the car seat is aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean when those messes happen. The magnetic chest strap made it super easy to clip one handed. You can pull and adjust without climbing in the car! I found the air fan comforting for my child when he needed a car nap. The air fan was nice to have on hot days but not sure it made a difference in cooling him down than the air did. I gave 4 starts since its easy to clean and the looks is nice.
