I received this all in one car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. In the two weeks that I've had it, I've been impressed! The fans definitely help my son stay cool. When getting him out of the car, I haven't noticed him being sweaty at all (a stark contrast to his infant car seat)! The fans are quiet, so they don't cause any annoyance. The seat's fabric is cushy and breathable. My son has fallen asleep in the seat, confirming its comfort. The cup holders are easily accessible and removable for washing. The harness holders may be my favorite feature, as I never have to dig for the straps! The magnetic chest clip makes it easy to hook/unhook. I was concerned that the magnets would reduce the strength of the clip, but after observing it, I no longer have that fear! The seat positions and straps are very easy to adjust when it's not installed. Installation was quick and easy using the latch connectors with exception to getting the straps pulled tight. I recruited my husband for this step. My one critique is that the fans continue running after turning off the car. The on/off switch is a simple solution to this, but it would be great to have one less thing to remember. Overall, I love this car seat and would recommend it, especially to anyone who has struggled with kiddos getting hot in their car seats!

I want to love this car seat so bad but it is just so big!! Upon opening the box, there is no instruction manual on how to install, features of the car seat, etc. I had to go on the web to figure out how to install the seat. It seemed pretty simple, but I struggled with getting it tight enough to not wiggle around. I had to scoot my passenger seat all the way up and also lift the back of the seat in order to get it to fit and be level. For reference, I have a Chevy Tahoe. The fan system is really cool and unlike anything I've ever seen. I'm very hopeful that it will keep my little guy cool in the hot Texas summers. Fingers crossed! The material and fabric seems very comfy and high quality. The inserts that were included were also great quality, but we didn't need to use them. I especially love the magnetic chest closure because it makes getting my son in and out an absolute breeze! The cup holders are great for snacks and drinks and he can easily reach them on his own. I'm excited to continue to use it, but may have to switch out if we use my car for long rides as the passenger seat will be too squished. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. We received this car seat during the first week of December, and we live in Phoenix, Arizona. My daughter is almost 2, and I drive a small SUV. I mention all of that because I think one of the big draws of this car seat is the built in fans that it has. They are super quiet and a fantastic feature (today is December 7th, and it was an 80 degree day, so... yes please fans.). The cord is super long and easy to tie up. We threaded it up to my front dashand it stayed out of the way and tucked behind the passenger seat belt buckle without hassle. The switch ended up being right behind the passenger seat back, which makes it easy to reach in the back seat to toggle. I have a car that turns off the engine when it idles, and that made the fans turn off. Just FYI that they might not be consistently running if you are a momma that has to wait with your car parked in a school pick up line for an older kiddo. Really nice to see 2 cup holders and a lot of additional features to make baby comfortable. If we received this car seat when my daughter was an infant, it would have been really nice to use the extra padding that is provided for smaller babies -- way more removable pieces than other convertible car seats. A few cons that we did not enjoy when trying out this car seat: - the harness buckle across the chest is designed to be easier to manage (i think it has a magnet component), but it's actually a bit cumbersome to clip with a squirmy toddler. - the buckle part that's right between the legs gets covered by the padding really easily, so it's hard to get it to click since it slides around. - the cup holders are actually really small. They won't hold a 12 oz yeti bottle. - install is a PAIN. There is not a level, just a line that you're supposed make parallel to the seat. - pro and con on the padding; hard to get baby in unless the car door opening is huge.

Just like I expected the design and colors are beautiful and it's covered in a thick cushion. It looks exactly like the pictures online. But there is nothing "cooler" than the fan feature. I have an older car without air vents in the back and with a rear facing car seat this is a serious problem. The air never hits my poor baby and it gets hot where I live. I've tried a clip on fan but he just pulls it off and plays with it, if I put it further away he can't feel it. It just doesn't work. Even in California it's not hot enough in December to try out this feature (it will automatically turn on when it detects a certain temperature) but I've turned it on and off and it's really genius. It's a little annoying to have a cord and I would have preferred it to attach to the usb which is closer to the seat but the cord is plenty long. I can't wait to see it in action this summer. The only thing I don't love is the chest clip feature, it's a little trickier and both sets of grandparents can't figure it out haha. Besides that minor problem I totally recommend this car seat. You won't be disappointed.

In terms of design, fabric, and comfort-enhancing features, this car seat hits all the right marks. The fabric is not only soft but also is durable and easy to clean, which is a huge plus for me because my child spills water, milk, food, and whatever he can. Installation and adjustment are super easy. The design and clear instructions made the initial setup a breeze. This car seat was perfect for my 1 year old who runs hot and hates being in the car because of how uncomfortable he gets. When I found out I was receiving this car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was so excited to test it out with the fan function. Upon receiving it I loved the design and how soft and comfortable the fabric and the seat in general was. It was super easy to install and it was easy to get him in and out. It took a minute to get the hang of the magnetic chest buckle but after I tried it I loved how easy it was to handle and still safe and secure. Even though it is wintertime for us my son still overheats in the car when wearing sweatshirts aand the heat full blast , so the fan actually turns on for him when it has gotten too warm in the car even in the wintertime when needed. I can't wait to have this function in the summertime too! The cord for the fan was easy to hide since it was plugged into the back and out of tiny hands reach. The seat was super easy to install, we didn't even need a virtual appointment, although we appreciated one being available if we needed help. The only design I would change is the cushion cover for the crotch buckle- it went a little higher than I like and adds a little time to move it out of the way In order to unbuckle, but we ended up just removing that padding thanks to the easy customization of the design! Overall my little guy has been super comfortable in his car seat, I love that we can keep him cool if he overheats because that was always on my mind. And I love how gorgeous and sleek it looks!

If you are worried about keeping your child at the right temperature while traveling, this car seat is for you. It has a luxury appearance and feel. Many compliments on its appearance. Easy to clean. Easy harness features are so appreciated. My daughter loves the fans and almost uses them as a sound machine. Wish it had more adjustable options and the balance ball to ensure proper installation. Not a great car seat for a small space. The indicator light can be a little bright with night time driving but nothing the off switch can't fix if necessary. Overall, great car seat and so glad we went for it!

This is a great car seat. The Vent Max technology has been a game changer for us. We live in Arizona, and this summer has been very hot. Knowing my girl is getting air is such a relief as she is still rear facing. The fabric is very breathable, and remains cool even though it stays in the car. I haven't used the cup holders, but they are very nice to have once my girl gets bigger. The magnetic chest clip is easy to use, and belts are easy to adjust. My baby seems to be very comfortable in the seat, and happy. The sound of the fans is just enough to let you know they are on, but not annoying. I also like that there is an indicator light, but it isn't too bright. I would definitely recommend this car seat to anyone looking for a convertible seat for their little one. I am so excited to continue to use it as she grows and turns front facing!

I was thankful to be chosen to test out this car seat free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion. I love this car seat- the cooling fans are quiet yet effective, and I especially like that there is a visual indicator when it is functioning so I can tell with a quick glance whether or not my baby is benefiting from the enhanced airflow. The power cord isn't overly cumbersome, the seat itself is made of plush, comfortable fabrics, and the cover and cupholders are removable and easy to clean which is always a bonus! Adjustments were pretty seamlessly made due to the streamlined, no-fuss methods provided, and I don't think I can go back to non-magnetic chest clips now!
