We have loved the opportunity to test out the Maxi Cosi Pria Chill All-in-One car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! It is quite plush and my daughter seems very comfortable in the seat (she's currently rear facing and I like that her feet don't even touch the back seat yet). We took this car seat on a ten hour road trip yesterday so we've really put it to the test! We can confirm that it's easy to clean in the event of carsickness as well. ?? One of the best features to me is the magnetic chest clip. This makes the buckling process super easy (while also still secure). The three recline positions, ultra cushioned seats, and built in fans mean that this car seat is great for both short and long trips. Especially living in Louisiana, we really appreciate those seat fans! Additionally, I love the cupholders — both where they are positioned (for easy access) and the fact that they easily twist out and can be tossed in the dishwasher (game changer!!). I think this is the most comfortable car seat my daughter had even ridden in and I like that it can even transition into a booster seat for her down the road. There are two things that we don't love about the car seat: 1. The installation was challenging and the instructions could be clearer. 2. Sometimes the straps catch on the back mechanics, making the seat difficult to tighten. It definitely requires a little more force to get the straps tight but it's certainly worth it for a more comfortable ride! Overall, we really enjoy this car seat and plan to continue using it!

Straight out of the box, I immediately noticed that it looks so comfy! The sides, bottom, and even the buckle straps have nice quality padding added to them. I was impressed that additional padding was included for the middle buckle which seems like quite an improvement on comfort. The padding and fabric are excellent breathable quality and what I'd expect in a top-of-the-line design! The installation of the seat was easy and pretty standard in terms of connecting the anchors. It's important to read and follow the seat's manual though since there are so many different configurations as an all-in-one seat! I was surprised to learn that this seat accommodates from 4lbs up to 100lbs/10 years old so it's nice knowing we can use this for a long time! This seat is also equipped with incredible new technology of a cooling system! The cooling fan is actually very quiet. I anticipate that the cooling feature will be handy during our long road trips and hotter summer months. In order to use the cooling feature, it requires a small auxiliary cord that connects from the back of the car seat into 12V power source. The cord was a bit awkward to have stretching across the car but it's long enough to tuck along the side of the car seat to keep out of the way. The seat includes harness holders so I don't have to dig around looking for the buckles. The magnetic chest clip is easy to buckle but has taken some practice for unbuckling and I'm still not sure I like it yet. I know other toddler parents can also appreciate that the dual cupholders can be removed and put into the dishwasher for cleaning. Overall, I've been impressed with this seat! I want to thank Stellar Product Testing for giving me this amazing opportunity to receive and try this car seat as part of their product testing panel! This review has been my personal experience and I would absolutely recommend this seat to other parents!

I have great things to say about this car seat! I've noticed that the backseat of my car does not have very good air flow (especially for a rear-facing child) and while I'm riding comfortably with AC blasting, I notice my child is sweaty when arriving at our final destination. This always presents a challenge: do I crank the AC and freeze myself out, or keep the car at a moderate temperature and hope my child doesn't mind the sweaty hair? This car seat provides the solution with the built-in fans and automated sensors to turn on and off when optimal temperatures are reached. The look of the car seat is stylish and relatively slim, although to incorporate the fans, the head rest is large and bulky, but my child didn't mind. I really appreciate that this seat can grow with my little one, and while I didn't need to use this for an infant, the pillows provided were firm and looked like they would have been extremely supportive for this function. A few design features that I think could make this a 100% winning seat are in relation to the cord and fan features. The cord is nice and long to allow it to reach the front seat in my car; however, in larger vehicles, or if using this in a third row, the cord would be unlikely to reach any power. I tried following instructions to keep the cord out of the way by tucking it under the seat, but in the rear facing position, it still has to drape and makes a second child crawling under it to their seat more challenging. A channel within the seat to hide the cord would be ideal. The power for this is also only a 12V; however, having this run-on USB power would have been more ideal. Adjusting the height positions on this seat was more challenging than I'm used to, but it was just something I had to adjust to. Overall, I would recommend this car seat if you are looking for a nice option to keep your kiddos cool! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this all in one car seat.

I received this carseat as part of the Stellar Panel to supply honest feedback. Being a STM I have to compare with what I know from my previous child which is the very popular G brand. The install was very similar...I wouldn't say EASY, but it wasn't ridiculously difficult. Hubs felt the adjustable headrest handle was not as smooth/easy to raise and lower as the G brand, but not bad. The material/fabric does feel plush/luxurious compared to the other brand, but I miss the liquid level. I feel like I'm more eyeballing it with this one. Now the magnetic chest clip is awesome! But for some reason the clip holders on the sides don't seem to be working for me (which was one of the cool features of this carseat that I was looking forward to....to hold the clip/straps aside while you get baby in). I also find that the finger control to loosen the straps is a little more awkward than G brand. Now the main feature of this carseat is the built in fan. As you can see from my pictures it plugs into your 12v which Im lucky to have behind my center console not far from the car seat (I would not have liked it if I had to string wires all the way to the front of the car). Since I live in a state where you have to bring your own shopping bags I cover the cord with my bag of bags as shown (to prevent my older child from pulling it out when he's climbing into the back seat). It's winter here so only a few opportunities to see the fan at work (when the heat was blasting in the car). It kicks on automatically when it detects a certain temperature. I personally feel it's a little loud but it didn't seem to disturb my sleeping baby. As a slightly anxious person I kinda worry about electricity and the carseat though I know it's passed safety tests...so not sure if I really need this feature...but ask me again in July when its a million degrees outside and I may think differently. Overall its a well-made car seat that seems luxurious and my baby seems to like it. ??

The Maxi-Cosi Pria Chill car seat is the most innovative one that I have seen on the market. I LOVE the addition of the air vents, which is the reason why I wanted to use it. Upon using it, I loved the fact that the car seat was lightly colored, had air vents with multiple speeds, and has plush breathable fabric that keeps baby cool in the car seat in the summer. Before using this car seat, I struggled with keeping my baby cool in a car without ceiling vents. The biggest downside to this car seat is the fact that the chest clip does not stay in place. I have 2 other car seat models from different brands that do not have this issue. The chest clip on the Maxi-Cosi Pria Chill seat slides down so easily that it often rests on top of the crotch clip - an extremely unsafe position for baby. The chest clip slides so easily that my toddler is able to do it with one hand and figure out how to get his arms outside of the straps. If this feature was fixed, I would 100% recommend this car seat.

My son loves this seat. He wants to get buckled in so he can feel the air. I don't have the negotiate with him to get into his seat anymore! I love that he is comfortable and that I can easily wash this if it get messy.

We really like this carseat. It is easy to install and our daughter loves to ride in it. She is comfortable and happy on car rides. The vent max cooling system is great for keeping her cool on longer car rides--no more sweaty head and back!

This is a great car seat for AZ families. It can help your child cool down, can make the car ride much more comfortable, and be a good incentive to get in the hot car.

This is a must-have for warm days and long car rides. Plush, comfortable with a built in fan, snack and drink holders and mesh fabric. Makes car rides enjoyable and is easy to clean due to removable components. Highly recommend!

This product was amazing for the hot summer months in the south. It's also cozy and my child has enjoyed it as the months get cooler. Absolutely love this seat.
