We purchased this microwave as a replacement for our old one and to match our new LG range top. It was well worth the buy. We are very satisfied with the performance, and how it complements our new LG range top. We love all the flexibility it has. If you're looking for a new microwave with a lot of modern technology, I recommend this one and the functionality is great.

Love the smooth look of the front of the microwave. The unit looks very nice with the hidden handle in the side. Cooking works nice with chimes when the cooking is done. If you have a matching LG oven you can program the vent fan to turn on with the stove top controls. The extended vent is nice and should help keep moisture from the front of the control panel. Only issue is I had to have the extended vent portion replaced after 3 weeks. It has a very cheap latching mechanism that I don't expect to last for a long time. I've had similar issues as other reviewers that you have to tap the front or open the door to see the controls

I love that it extends over the stove if you are frying and need to pull up the smoke and fumes with just a push of the bar. The fan is strong, the lighting is nice as it brightens up gently and is bright enough to see the stove top well.

Bought this microwave specifically for the vent to use while cooking and it broke within 6 months. LG repaired it at no cost, but now it’s making an odd noise and I am not convinced it’s going to last.

This extendavent doesn't do much but the fan is super loud for what it does do. Low and turbo are effectively the same noise. My prior fan could not be heard on low, this one sounds like a jet engine yet lacks and suction from the stove.
