But I like to keep him on a portion of high-quality, high-fiber food. This means I rotate between two options. This topper is a great, healthy option to make him excited to eat! It's the first topper that he has really liked. He loved it, and I felt great about giving it to him. Not only that, it didn't require a lot of it to have him licking his bowl when his food was already gone! I will definitely buy more of this for him in the future. It may have helped my pickiest eater eat his full bowl of food instead of grazing. I'm not sure that I saw a difference in their digestion capabilities just yet so maybe an extended period of time would provide better results. The serving size for my large dog is 12 tablespoons or almost 3/4 of a cup so it's a large amount topper and almost the entire amount of food for the dogs recommended daily feeding. So for my large dog, I'm not sure it's a good option. For my small dog, the quantity was fine and still allowed him to get most of his normal daily feeding. Overall, the dogs loved the flavor but there was not any noticeable change of the digestion as there was no change in stool or appetite.

My dog is a very picky eater, I have tried with both dry and wet food but he didn't seem interested in any if them. He would definitely eat them but he would have to be very hungry to actually finish it. But as soon as he smelled the Solid Gold Chicken Bone Broth Lavender & Chamomile he went crazy over his dry food and finished the whole bowl. My dog is very active and it gets me really happy that I can finally get him to eat properly his food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a free bag of the Solid Gold Hund and Flocken Lamb and Brown Rice & Pearled Barley Holistic Potato Free Dry Adult dog food for my 9 year old Pomeranian in exchange for an honest review. It's been such a challenge to find a dry dog food that my dog actually likes. She is very finicky and doesn't like overly crunchy or large pieces of food. However, she really likes this brand. I've noticed that she is pooping twice a day and drinking more water and because she's eating all her food she's not hanging out in the kitchen waiting for treats. Her mood seems to have improved and I feel she has a bit more energy. I will continue buying this product once she's finished with this bag. She's not a big eater so I expect that it will last her a while. I like that the ingredients are clean and healthy for her. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family for their fur babies.

I love giving them little extras because they did not have a good life prior to me taking them in but everything doesn't work. This did and I will say, it seemed to relax them a bit in the evenings so the lavender went to work there. I recommend this product.

It has an appealing look and smell and could easily pass as a replacement for something like human chicken broth. The container is easy to open and use. The clickable screw-top lets you know when it is closed correctly, and with the rest being a pouch, you can get every last drop out of it. I have never used a dog-specific broth before but i will start using this product.
