She seemed offended if I forgot to add it. I split the daily recommended allowance between two meals and she cleaned her bowl both times. She seemed to increase her activity as well. Possibly caused some dry and difficult bowl movements is the only drawback, but more time is needed to confirm. This product was received as part of a free trial.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three dogs (one Boxer age 4, and two Olde English Bulldogge's ages 3 and 10). All three enjoyed the Solid Gold topper. I liked being able to add the extra fiber and vitamins content to their food and they're already on a grain-free diet, so this supplemented nicely with their current food. The bits looked like good quality and didn't look dried out or lacking in moisture. I couldn't definitively tell if it made a long term difference because the supply was a little small for three pups to enjoy longer than a week, but I would give the product a try for an extended period of time. The price point is also good, too!

I was given a sample to try thru BzzAgent and here are my thoughts: Pros: Resealable bag Bites sized perfectly for both my smaller and larger breed dogs Premium product I felt good giving to my dogs - contains plasma which offer gut health benefits as well as proteins and health benefits. I noticed my dogs stool was more regular and not runny. Cons: Expensive to provide regularly for my larger dog due to the portion size needed - I will buy it and give him less than the daily reco, as I did see gut improvements in the short trial period. In summary, I would definitely recommend this product for your pets. Unlike other toppers I've tried in the past, this product is adding additional health benefits.

I was really excited to give this food a try. I love that it contains so many healthy ingredients for my aging dog. Unfortunately my picky dog has refused to eat it. he tried several bites of it and will not eat it. Im sad beacause I want him to have the best products to live a healthy life.

But I like to keep him on a portion of high-quality, high-fiber food. This means I rotate between two options. This topper is a great, healthy option to make him excited to eat! It's the first topper that he has really liked. He loved it, and I felt great about giving it to him. Not only that, it didn't require a lot of it to have him licking his bowl when his food was already gone! I will definitely buy more of this for him in the future. She's sort of picky with her food choices, so I was curious to see how she would respond to Solid Gold Hund N Flocken Lamb, Brown Rice, & Pearled Barley Holistic Potato Free Dry Adult Dog Food with Superfoods. As soon as I opened the bag (which has a very nice design), she was very interested in the contents. When I poured some into her bowl, she dove right in. She can only fit one piece in her mouth at a time, because each piece is about the size of a dime. I think it's probably too big for a small dog, especially a toy breed, but I started to use them as treats and they worked quite well. They aren't too hard either - there's a satisfying crunch that my dog seemed to like, but they broke up pretty quickly. Overall, I would not buy this for such a small dog, but that is the only reason. I'm sure any medium or large dog would love this food.

I've mixed wet food with their kibble before, but this was the first time they had tried a broth topper with their kibble. They licked their bowls dry and were begging for more! This is definitely something I would re-purchase in the future.
