I received the Solid Gold Bone broth Chicken and Lavender for free from BzzAgent, in exchange for my honest review. I was super excited to get this stuff when I received the campaign application. I received it a couple days ago, which was worrying me as I got an email from BzzzAgent saying time is running out, so they didn't give me very long time to really enjoy the product experience. Ok, so, I gave this to my handsome boy Romeo, who's a 60 lb pitbull. He's not a picky dude, and it pretty much a garbage disposal. When I put it over his kibble, I was a little confused by the instructions and I am pretty sure his first feed was WAY too much. I put down his bowl in front of him and normally he just dives right in. ( He eats terribly fast so he has a slow feeder bowl) This time he stopped dead in his tracks, sniffs it and then looks directly at me like " Mom, what the heck is this?!!" Lol. I looked at him and said " it's ok, you can eat it, go ahead." He then looked back at his bowl and sniffed some more, followed by a little nip of one kibble. He then paused a short second then....... DOVE RIGHT IN! He scarfed the whole thing down in about 2 minutes flat, licking the entire bowl clean! I then breathed a little. I was only able to give 3 feedings out of this, so I can't really contest if it is gut healthy and if the product truly works as it claims. But I do know that the next 2 feedings, he scarfed them down with no hesitation, so I know he loves it! Upon reading the ingredients, I have never seen something so organic and healthy for dog food! The ingredient list was extremely minimal, with normal food juices, like chicken bone broth, lavender, sweet potatoes etc, nothing you can't pronounce and no additives. I will definitely be stocking up on this stuff for my boy, we absolutely LOVE IT! Do yourself a favor and you fur babies favor, and get this broth topper to add to their food. It has become a instant staple in my dogs diet, he will never go without it.

They were both wagging their tails the whole time eating and kept going back to lick the empty bowl. Didn't cause any upset stomach

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this a try for my old guys inflammation. I topped both of my dogs food with it and they scarfed it down. I haven't seen any physical improvement yet, but for the treat alone, I'll buy it again for my appreciative pups!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my cats have been using the Solid gold food topper for the past week. They both like the taste and gobble up the crunchy bits right away. One of my cats has a history of soft stools and I worry about him absorbing all the necessary nutrients in his food. I am hoping that this might help address this issue. As of one week on the food topper there has been no improvement. However, with that said, there has also been no negative changes for either cats stools. Since there has been no negative side effects I think it is worth continuing to use this topper for 3 months to see if there are any noticeable improvements.

I love that my dog looks forward to her food and even licks her bowl after I pour some Solid Gold Turkey Bone Broth w Pumpkin on her dry food. She seems more active and happy to have this new addition with great supplements and vitamins added.

For sure my dog enjoy this broth. I add it to dry food and she love's it even though she's a picky eater. Smells nice but hard to tell about pros and cons of using it after only one package.
