[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is very picky (she is a husky mix.) I first put this in a small bowl and she didn't even sniff it. I topped her dinner (fresh pet) with it the same night and she refused to eat any of her food. However, the broth is a very deep color and you can tell it is very flavorful, I like the idea of a pinch of lavender too. I shared with another family dog who is not as picky and they seemed to enjoy it, not overly excited about it but they ate it all. I would be willing to try a different flavor, I like the moisture it adds and you can clearly tell it's very rich.

I love that the pouch has a cap so I can close it back up and put it in the fridge until I'm ready to use the rest. I can't speak on the health benefits since I haven't used it long enough, but it's definitely an easy way to add some extra benefits to your dogs food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried Solid Gold Bone Broth Meal Topper with lavender and chamomile. I love that this is 100% human grade and made in the USA. The packaging claims immune support and gut health and it sounds like something that would help with dog anxiety. The I gradients are super simple. The guidelines indicate 1/4 cup broth per 25 lbs. So for my dogs, this would get expensive fast. The smell is pleasant. It is definitely bone broth with a slight underlay of lavender. It is liquid, and very easy to pour over their kibble. The dogs really seemed to enjoy the flavor and took their time eating their kibble. Overall, I think this is a wonderful product. It's a definite treat for the pups!

I put this as a topper on his morning food and the first day would not touch it or the food under it. The second feeding, I cleaned out the bowl and tried again, too which he ate a little of his regular dog food, but left most of the bowl untouched. I tried again, with a new bowl of food and the meal topper, and he ate the dog food and left most of the topper in the bowl He usually isn't that picky.

But I like to keep him on a portion of high-quality, high-fiber food. This means I rotate between two options. This topper is a great, healthy option to make him excited to eat! It's the first topper that he has really liked. He loved it, and I felt great about giving it to him. Not only that, it didn't require a lot of it to have him licking his bowl when his food was already gone! I will definitely buy more of this for him in the future. I have always been in search of a dry food that My Mellie would like and have never been successful. Until now! Solid Gold is gobbled up and my dog leaves no crumbs. My search is finally over! Her coat is noticeably shinier, her bowel movements are more formed and her energy level has increased. I don't know who's happier...me or my dog. Highly Recommend!
