[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't get me wrong, my dog loved his dog food topper, he loves everything Solid Gold produces in fact. He's usually a grazer and eats throughout the day when he feels like it. But whenever I topped off his food with this right here.. he practically inhaled his entire bowl. Most importantly it did not negatively affect his sensitive stomach in any way! The only thing that holds me back from running out and buying a whole new bag is that with a serving size of 2 tablespoons per 15 lbs body weight each day for my 120 lb dog would run through the bag in a matter of days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three dogs (one Boxer age 4, and two Olde English Bulldogge's ages 3 and 10). All three enjoyed the Solid Gold topper. I liked being able to add the extra fiber and vitamins content to their food and they're already on a grain-free diet, so this supplemented nicely with their current food. The bits looked like good quality and didn't look dried out or lacking in moisture. I couldn't definitively tell if it made a long term difference because the supply was a little small for three pups to enjoy longer than a week, but I would give the product a try for an extended period of time. The price point is also good, too!

It is very important to me my dog be fed wholesome food. My dog absolutely loves this brand. I feel safe feeding it to him to. I had never heard of this product before but I will continue to use it. I am holistic myself so to be able to do the same for my dog makes me feel better.

I liked that the pouch could be sealed back up and it wasn't a strong smell. The ingredients seemed great. I would for sure buy this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two senior cats, 17 and 12. They're both a little finicky when it comes to dinner. The younger one does love dry and the older prefers wet. There wasn't a lot of information on the packaging so I treated it like when I started giving my dogs supplements. I gave them a few pieces on their own to see if they liked it. They had one or two and walked away. Then I started putting a little in the dry food at dinner. Not the full recommended 2 tbls. Over time they would eventually eat it what was in there along with the other dry. But it wouldn't be all in one night. So far I haven't put the full amount in. Still just about a tbls between them in the dry bowls. I will keep at it as I think the benefits would be good for them.

After reading that the ingredients had "blood" in it, I was nervous to give it to my dog but after reading more about it, I decided to give it to her. The serving size for her was only 2 tablespoons per day. She is a 13 lb Pomeranian. This looks just like dry dog food but it's a super dark reddish purple. I gave it to her as a midday snack. Normally she hates "dry food" but she couldn't get enough of this! The look on her face after trying this was like the look of a crack addict lol. She loves it! This sample will last me a while because she is a small dog but I will definitely buy more when I run out!

Two of our cats go crazy for it, while the other two cats refuse to eat if it is in their bowl. I will say that I'm not sure if I have noticed a difference in our cat's digestion or nutritional gain from the product. However, with the excitement we get from two of our cats, I would certainly recommend it.

It also seemed to help with their stomach issues their stool seemed firmer and they didn't throw up from their sensitivity! I will definitely be buying this food topper for my 3 German shepherd ls.
