Was so excited to get this starter set but when arrived, four north winds were missing and instead I had two extra blanks and two extra jokers in it's place. Please check all the tiles before you open up everything! It is a good starter kit but so disappointment in the missing tiles. Also tiles are a bit chunky but good for beginners.

My nieces gave me the set for Christmas and I love the feel and grade of the tiles. Not super fond of the mat, but realized I did not have the red dragons. It was so easy to contact customer service and within seven business days I had all four red dragons. They're a great company to work with and the product is excellent. Will not hesitate to purchase another set from this company.

I love the colors of this set, but there is no bird 1 bam (it's plain bamboo) and my set was missing all 4 red dragons. They are replacing my set, but I have to go through the trouble of printing a mailing label and returning the old set to the post office.

Very excited about this set! Great price and honestly it's really beautiful. But when we opened it we noticed that it had printed on itself? I know it was inexpensive so it's hard to expect it to be perfect but couldn't give 5 stars! It won't let me attach a photo but the pattern on the outside bled onto the white center…

The rules are beautiful and easy to read. However, the 2 piece pusher is hard to use and the mat feels like a suede material so the tiles do not slide in the mat. Carry case and bag are great. Overall, good set but I'm buying a different mat and racks.

After spending hours looking at Mahjong sets. I found this beautiful set Blooming set at Sam's. The price was wonderful. After receiving the set I was thrilled with the tiles, size, color and quality. The mat was more than I could have hoped. Racks are sturdy and good size for the tiles. The carry bag was sturdy and quality. I have shown many of my friends they all agree and want one also. I emailed the business who provided the set to Sam's Club and they were very helpful, professional and prompt Highly recommend

Bought the Blossom set. Love th pink back of tiles. Red dragons were blank. I emailed Joyc.com - the manufscturer- on the “contact us” page, they emailed me back within the day and shipped out new dragon tiles the next day at no cost. Super customer service!! Beautiful set with nice bag and colorful mat that is not distracting in th middle. Note-the racks do not have attached stretchers. They are separate acrylic sticks to use for both American and Chinese mahjong. This is in the description.

We ordered the blooming set and it's absolutely stunning. Boutique quality designs and colors at a fraction of the price. Includes everything you need to play the game. Would absolutely purchase again. Also outstanding customer service. The soap tiles were missing the blue boarder color and the company responded within the hour, and was immediately helpful - offering to mail replacements. They had that processed the same day!

I'm so glad I grabbed this. I've been wanting to learn Mahjong, and this set makes it so much easier. The tiles are decently hefty and the colors are super vibrant and easy to read. ​It comes with a sturdy case, so it's perfect if you're traveling or want to store it with your other games. It looks really good quality. Definitely recommend if you want a pretty set that actually lasts.

Love the Blooming set! If you haven't used trays without connected pushers it's a little hard to get used to. These trays have a separate pusher piece that is not connected. The mat comes folded, the creases do not come out easy. (see photo) The creases make it hard to move pieces across the mat. I rolled mine around a thick wrapping paper tube for 1 week to try get the creases out. The mat will not fit in the bag unless it's folded. So mine sticks out one end since it's rolled. The pushers have a film on both sides that can be peeled off to make them clear just like the trays. If you don't peel them off they just remain cloudy (see photo). You are given two extra Jokers and six blanks in case you lose any pieces. The row of 19 tiles against the pusher at the beginning of the game hangs off both ends a little bit.
