Missing pieces, mat was awful

Very hard to read.

This is fine for a beginner set. However, I will say after playing with them weekly for four months: 1. The mat is suede-like and you can’t mix (wash) the tiles around without flipping them over. I had to buy a different mat made of neoprene. 2. People I’ve played with think the craks look like dots because the lanterns are round in shape. I wish they would have left off the lanterns and just used the plain characters, because all the craks look the same. 3. The pushers are crap and one tile too short. I’ll probably buy different magnetic ones. 4. The tiles are small but chunky. They fall off the racks easily and they fall over when pushing out the wall, etc. People are constantly knocking and flipping them over. When you build your wall, the height of the two tiles is significantly taller than the rack. 5. Font size of the numbers is small - a note for anyone with not-so-perfect eye sight. I have the bloom set, so at least my ink isn’t yellow. 6. They’re heavy, so I don’t even use the bag it came in. I use a backpack. 7. I wish the case the tiles came in was a bit bigger. You have to stack the tiles neatly for them to fit %26 zip. I don’t use that anymore either… I found a makeup bag that I we can quickly toss them in when finished. This set has such potential, but misses the mark on a lot of things. But it’s fine if you’re new to learning and don’t want to spend $500 on a set.

This is my first mahjong set, and I love that it includes beautiful tiles, a mat, the racks, the tile pushers, a tile bag, and a larger bag to carry the whole set. The box also has a QR code on the packaging that takes you to a website with short, straightforward videos that explain the basic rules of American mahjong, including the Charleston. The maker of this product is also super helpful if you have an issue. I played mahjong with the set a few times and noticed a hairline crack inside one of the acrylic tiles. Within just minutes of my emailing to ask about a replacement tile, the maker of the set had a new tile on its way to me and sent me a tracking number. Highly recommend this mahjong set!

Love it!

The set is beautiful and colorful. It gives off vibes of happiness. I love the colors and fabric of the carrying/storage bag. I love the colors and weight of the tiles. Some people may have a hard time seeing the yellow pictures on the tiles. I love the design and colors on the mat, but I wish the mat included the basic instructions of the Charleston and the basic instructions of the game like so many other mats available on the market. The instructions on the mat are good reminders for beginners. In addition, I wish the pushers came attached to the racks. It is a tad bizarre to me that the pushers are separate. I will keep the set. I received it as a gift. Given that this set is missing the named features which are available with lesser expensive sets (almost half the price), I think the price is too high.

Beautiful set, Joyc customer service even better. The tile case (so cute) had stitches come undone, they sent me a replacement no questions asked. Last night I noticed one of my dragons had a deep scratch, I wrote them again and a replacement is currently in the mail.

The colors are already wearing off of the tiles after only 2 months (less really because the 1st month I couldn't find anyone to play with). Also tiles printed In yellow are hard to read

Loved this set at first. Been using it for about a month now and all the numbers and suit markings on the tiles are chipping off, making it unplayable. Very disappointing!

What a quality set. Beautiful Tiles sturdy mat and racks. I Love it. I had no color on my white dragon tiles, emailed JoyC Brands Customer Service and they responded within a very short time.
