Beautiful Mahjong set!! Such a great set for the price! The tiles, mat, and bags are great quality. I can not say enough about the Joyc Brand customer service as well. If you have any questions about the game or set their team responds fast and extremely helpful! The QR code the packaging was very helpful in game set up. You will not find a better quality or company for $149 set!

Very excited about this set! Great price and honestly it's really beautiful. But when we opened it we noticed that it had printed on itself? I know it was inexpensive so it's hard to expect it to be perfect but couldn't give 5 stars! It won't let me attach a photo but the pattern on the outside bled onto the white center…

I will be using this product to play Mahjong with friends. The tiles are nice, easy to read and as a beginner, I like the 1 bam not being a bird. The bag and mat are very nice. I like that everything fits into one bag, even the racks. My issue is the racks. The pushers on the racks are not connected. They are not magnetic. So, I am not sure how to use them. I think I will buy Hobby Lobby racks to replace them. The racks in this set are nicely constructed and heavier than Hobby Lobby racks but not sure how to use the acrylic bar that is not connected to the rack.

I have been playing American Mahjong for several years. I was excited to play with this pretty (pink) set! The tiles are very pretty, my whole group agreed with that. And it was a good value for the money. But they are so thick! It was difficult to mix the tiles for play because they kept flipping over. They are almost as thick as they are wide! Photo shows comparison with “normal” tile thickness. The mat being suede did not allow for the tiles to slide around while being mixed up, contributing to their flipping over. The mat is pretty though. As far as the pushers go, they took some getting used to, but they were okay. The case for the tiles is quite nice. We are used to lining our tiles up to put them in a box, so that was not an issue. The carrying case for the whole set was nice. I ended up returning this set because of the tile thickness, the cracks were difficult to read, as were the winds. There needs to be more differentiation in those tiles.

The Tiles are BEAUTIFUL and while not the absolute best quality (etching is a little light and some of the printing may wear off easily) they are a lovely set for the price. The transparent pink is such a fun touch. The racks leave a bit to be desired. They are VERY narrow and the thick tiles are hard to sit on them. Many instances of them slipping off the rack. The pushers are not hinged, which doesn't bother me but threw off some of my friends. Now, the case and bag are ok quality, but WAY too small. Everything barely fits inside with it packed *just so*. It's nearly impossible to get the tiles back in the case- you have to set each one in individually and balance them perfectly. Bag is not large enough for OMM racks, and any mat will have to be folded meaning creases will mess up sliding walls. The inclusion of the mat is a nice tough for a starter set. The mat is printed neoprene in an off white. colors arent quite as vibrant as the listing but still lovely. My friends who were newer to the game complained it didn't have charleston/ dragon rules on the mat. Over all, a goof beginner set. The tiles are a lot of fun and it's easy enough to toss the items into a more accessible bag.

Really love this set to keep as a back up for practice. It would make a great starter set for those looking to get into Mahjong but don't want to invest $500 into a complete set. Yes, are there things that could be improved upon, I.e pushers not being fully connected or the yellow set does have some tiles that are harder to read because they are yellow or the 1 bam bird tile doesn't have a bird on it, sure but overall it's a really cute set with everything you need to get started

Was so excited to get this starter set but when arrived, four north winds were missing and instead I had two extra blanks and two extra jokers in it's place. Please check all the tiles before you open up everything! It is a good starter kit but so disappointment in the missing tiles. Also tiles are a bit chunky but good for beginners.

After spending hours looking at Mahjong sets. I found this beautiful set Blooming set at Sam's. The price was wonderful. After receiving the set I was thrilled with the tiles, size, color and quality. The mat was more than I could have hoped. Racks are sturdy and good size for the tiles. The carry bag was sturdy and quality. I have shown many of my friends they all agree and want one also. I emailed the business who provided the set to Sam's Club and they were very helpful, professional and prompt Highly recommend

Pretty set. I don't care for the pushers since it's 2 pieces and not connected. And if you play with blanks and extra jokers the pushers could be longer. I feel like we have been dropping tiles more with this set than others. The lip of the pusher that the tiles sit on seems narrow. Good started set for the price.

Yellow is so hard to read! Maybe the other set is better? The racks don't have hinges, the rack and the straight edge are completely separate. Still works okay though. I like the carrying bag and mat, but the case for the tiles only fits the tiles if you stack them just so.
