Really needed a washer. Bought the Hair 1 Cu ft off of amazon since it had 4.5 star review. After it came in it was wayyy to small. The RCA 3 cu ft is the biggest portable washer I could find (our apartment has no hookups). I am overly satisfied with this product!! I washed my clothes to try it out and didn't have a dryer. The clothes were spined almost dry and washed really good! Was able to air dry my clothes the first time.

Just got this washer so can't comment on the longevity but I wanted to write a review because these things are so much work to research. It's Huge. Like a full sized washer. Make sure to have on hand a plumber's wrench to get the faucet screen off. My friend improvised and used lobster claw crackers. The attachment that goes on the sink is pretty sputtery. It's now annoying to use my kitchen sink because of the splashing from it. The hoses are super short which is kind of annoying. Only hook up one inlet if you're hooking it up to a sink. That way you can leave the faucet on hot or cold depending on the wash temp you want. Everyone said that it washes as well as a regular washer. This is not true. Maybe they don't have super stinky sweat like I do, but it doesn't get armpit smells out. It is fairly hard on the clothes, much more so than a standard washer. It also wrinkles everything pretty badly. I bought the magic chef 3.5 cu ft dryer which makes things even more wrinkled. Even hanging things to dry they're still wrinkled. The energy rating attached said it costs $8/year in energy to run. We shall see what my electric bill is next month. The lights dim in the kitchen every time the wash basin rotates, so I'm inclined not to believe that. However, it is pretty, I like the lint filter inside but am still using a metal one on the outlet hose and it catches some lint. A cycle takes about an hour to complete which is fine. Haven't tried the quick 20 min cycle yet. I've washed several loads now and it easily fit my queen sized blanket, but it is a rather thin blanket. I washed 3 sets of twin microfiber sheets and that was fine too. All in all it's amazing not to have to go up and down 3 flights of stairs and across the courtyard during a Chicago winter. It does a good enough job to be worth it. Should have bought these appliances 2 years ago when I moved here. Saves tons of time and money.

The machine washed great! However, a few months after the mfg warranty expired the washer will not spin. There is no service in the USA from the manufacturer and repair companies say they do not work on this machine because they cannot get parts! It is a disposable not portable machine.

I've only had this washer about a week but WOW! So far it's been awesome! It's quiet, clothes are clean and spun really well. I use it with the quick connect in my apartment because I don't have proper hot and cold hookups. Easy to figure out and larger then I expected! Super happy with it so far!

I was a bit skeptical when ordering this washer, but I was desperate for a washer after my laundry center died. This washer has met my needs, and even surpasses the washer of my old laundry center. I can wash 3 pair of jeans with 3 t-shirts without issue most of the time (sometimes you need to put it through an extra spin cycle), and wash a full size "cushy" blanket, 4 heavyweight bath sheets, 20 pair of thermal socks, pretty much just about anything as long as you don't overload it. It has two easy to remove reusable filters, one inside the washer, the other at the bottom in the back. Recommend cleaning the inside filter after every load, especially if you have pets, and the outer filter after every 10 to 15 loads, more often if you have pets. It has a soft-close lid so it doesn't bang down (helpful if you do laundry when others are sleeping), easy to use push button/panel controls with easy to read digital display. Instructions are easy enough to read, and mostly understandable. The only thing that could make this washer better? Is if they made a matching dryer!

Took lots and lots of trial and error to find correct sink adapter and by the time I located the right one, I could not return to the store. Nice size but much bigger than I imagined from measurements and my last machine, a Haier. The Haier was trouble free. This has a super short drain hose and electronical plug. The kicker is once it gets to Spin, it starts back at rinse over and over. Makes no difference the load size. I have to stand and watch it to turn it off. I didn't get the plan this time because in all the years I bought plans, the products worked fine. The washer is as big as I am, so I'm not in any rush to move it again. For now, it's just good to have my own washer again. Broken spin cycle and all. I've read that the customer service is nonexistent. You can even find this product on the RCA website where I tried to download a digital manual. They do have an older version. Since the Magic Chef one is the same, I downloaded their manual instead. Probably should have went with their brand. But yeah, glad to have a partially working washer. May see if I can find a repair person at a later date.

Pros- it's really big, washes well, quiet and it has lots of washing options. Cons- you must buy the wheels if you want to move this machine at all! The drain hose is a joke. It's cheap plastic and extremely short. You'll need to replace it. The power cord is very short. There is no fabric softener dispenser and the bleach dispenser barely holds any liquid. The spin cycle is fine on medium loads or smaller. On large loads, I have to run a second spin to get the clothes dry. Also, Downy Ball dies not work well with this machine. it either opens during the wash or not at all. All in all, you get what you pay for. It's a decent machine for the low price.

It came today and it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be I haven’t used it yet but I’m definitely going to use it tonight. The only thing I didn’t like is that it has a small dent in guessing from it being transported but other then that it looks good

Washes like a regular waher. I ordered this exact one like in picture but mine came in clear window to see the clothes being washed. it washes my blankets fine and comes out dry. can be paused to add more clothes or to add fabric softner. 51 minutes to wash a big load which is a little under a regular laundry basket of clothes. what I do is let the washer fill up with water on big load setting, then add clothes that way I won't over fill. it comes with the sink adapter and the hoses such as the hose that drains out water and the ones that connect to sink faucet to add water. It connects to regular 120 watt plug in. The only think is it has a lint filter inside the washer that needs to be cleaned regularly maybe every 4 uses because it does catch lint. Other then that it works perfectly. Don't be like me and not buy a washer Dolly to move it from the place you store it when not in use to the sink when your ready to use. Also if you buy a Dryer I got the Panda brand and it dries my load of clothes in one hour on high it also came with the hose for the drier and I just put it near a window and put hose blowing the air out the window. It feels nice to wash at home and not waste time, money and gass on dirty laundromat.

I read customer reviews for months before making this purchase. I saw enough negative reviews on almost every portable washing machine that I didn't purchase one for many months. Now that my RCA 3.0 cubic foot portable washing machine came, and I have gone through the trouble of fitting it into my environment, going through the learning curve, (about 6 weeks), I can say those customers who gave negative reviews about this product were telling the truth. Here is what I believe: Several bugs in the electronic design were never ironed out before making these in mass quantity. Once made, they want to market them and get them off of their hands, out of their warehouses. When they break, people are given a terrible run around. Maybe people, or companies that do not care about customer satisfaction. Yes the machine stretched out all my knits, it's very hard on cloth! And clothes get hopelessly tangled in each other during the fast spin. But sure enough, one by one, all of the things others were complaining about have also finally happened. The machine won't fill. I have the tool box in the bathroom and it's now 3:00 am. I have been up all night trying to fix it. I was able to get it to fill by very, very much taking apart, rethinking, putting back together try again, finally I switched over to the hot water hose and it worked. But now it won't finish the cycle. OMG! I bought the square trade warranty with it, I'm going to have to find out in the morning what I'm going to have to go through to get someone out here to fix it!
