Waste of money.

Has very limited power. In very dry fluffy snow it will move some, in and type of moist snow or, forbid, any ice, it doesn't perform at all. Snow is tossed out the side and piled right next to the blower, no where near 20' away, or even 2'. If snow is more than 3" the blower stalls when it makes contact.. Admittedly, when plugged into 110v, it does have a bit more power but it still doesn't compare to the specs posts.

Perfect for a DIY Girly

I used this snowblower during a 6 inch snowfall and here’s a quick, honest take. Light, fluffy snow was easy. It handled that with no issue. Wet, heavy snow was tougher and required a slower pace. I have a three car garage and a driveway about 48 feet long. It took two full battery charges to finish. That felt reasonable and gave me time to warm up between runs. The biggest benefit is ease of use. • Easy to unbox and assemble. • Lightweight and simple to start. • Easy to use on your own. We’re in the KC, MO metro where snow varies year to year. I recommend this for convenience and simplicity. Just expect extra battery swaps with heavier snow.

Snow Joe O'Tay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an IDENTICAL Westinghouse snow blower(only differance is the name) Worked so good I bought a USED Snow Joe (which i'm going to mount to my mobility scooter) Also have a 12" Snow Joe power shovel, which gives me 6 batteries to use! They work OK with 6" of snow, anything more I use my Wheel Horse tractor with plow, Been Very happy with Snow Joe products (2 hand held air smpressors,2 chain saws, pressure washer, and soot vacume) I live in upstate New York where we get plenty of snow & burn lot of wood!

Cheaply made, not powerful, to be avoided....

This snowblower is only useful for very light snow, over a small area. It is only an appropriate choice for someone with a very small driveway, that only gets a couple of inches of light snow. This snowblower will not be powerful enough to deal with any thick, dense, or wet snow. The included batteries will also not be nearly strong enough to cover a 1000sqft driveway. If you buy this, you will absolutely need to upgrade to the 6Ah replacement batteries to have any shot of this being useful. The only real benefits to this type of snowblower is that it is fairly quiet to run, is rechargeable, and is relatively light compared to gas models. The unit is also very cheaply made, and plastic parts break easily with normal use. Mine needed replacement batteries on its second season, and replacement wheels the third. All of which were very expensive to replace. Overall, just spend the extra $$$ and get a decent gas powered one. (I sure wish I did)

Snowman smiles when he hears Snow blower power up

Very nice snow blower, had an older one that lasted several years and this one is the winner for my new one. Works great had to have the metal auger for sure old one had the plastic and had seen better days. I like the size and the power it has. Also like the little tool attachment for clearing the chute. I found out from an old guy down the street a trick that really works great. Get a can of spray silicone and spray the auger and the chute before you use it. It really helps the snow move threw. Otherwise very satisfied with my new snow blower.

Love having my dual battery charger

No more worries about running out of power. So helpful in keeping most of my Sun Joe, Snow Joe, etc items charged while working in the yard. Prevents unnecessary delays in getting work done and helps with quick and easy charge top ups of equipment at the beginning of the outdoor season. One of my favorite items. Always keep close!

Good Snow Blower with NO REPLACEMENT FLITES AVAIL>

Snow blower does a really good job for a residential small to medium driveway. The reason I would never buy this again, is because you cannot purchase the rubber flites at all. I have had this for one good season in Ohio (3 or 4 snow events) then needed to buy replacement flites with zero luck from anywhere. Snow Joe put me on a list 15 months ago to notify me when they become available for purchase.

Awesome Snow Joe performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snow Joe Cordless 48V review Wow! I bought this to only clear snow from the street to about 70' up the driveway then I would use my corded Snow Joe for the rest including a 50 x 50 parking area and aroind my 31' motorhome at the top. So, we had a small 2" Snow this morning and went to try it out! Exceeded performance way beyond my expectations! It just kept powering through every bit of driveway and only ran out of battery juice on the far side of the motorhome! In deep Snow I probably won't get this kind of coverage but certainly will take care of the entire length which measures 9' x 150' and then some! Btw, I've had the corded Snow Joe for 6 years and its been flawless in performance handling moderate Snow falls.

Under powered with short battery life

Purchased the Snow Joe 48 volt snowblower in December of 2024. So well into my second winter. The good - It's light and quiet The OK - It handles 1” to maybe 3” of snow The bad - I have a small city lot with a short driveway. 3 or more inches of snow and it needs two full charges to clear the drive.

For the money it's as good as you're going to find

In powder and light snow this will throw 20 feet. Even 10 inches deep. However if it's moderately wet, the distance is immediately cut in half or less. Even down to 2 feet distance away from the machine. And that's moderately wet. Regardless, battery life is the biggest issue. Most people say they can get 30 minutes. I'm not getting 30 minutes even with three or 4 inches of moderately wet snow. It's 99% put together out of the box and what's left shouldn't require any instructions for even the most mentally challenged. It's very light weight and not designed to be treated as if it's commercial grade.
