Maybe it is just the tv starting up? It does go away, but very weird. Nonetheless I really do love this tv it has amazing brightness/resolution.

If there was an overall rating of zero, that would be a more accurate rating than a one star. Second Samsung product we have owned and nothing but problems, problems, problems.

It was easy to set up, and the smart features are simple to use. The sound is okay, but a soundbar would definitely make it better. The TV also occasionally freezes while using the apps, which can be frustrating, but it usually starts working again after a moment or after restarting it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it's a great TV. It isn't difficult at all to go into setting and adjust the picture settings. I enjoy a lower brightness since I usually watching before I fall asleep and it was incredibly easy to turn down the backlight and brightness. The picture is great no matter if I'm gaming or watching movies or television it does a great job balance colors and contrast and has some premade profiles if you don't want to mess with it. The picture is crisp and clear even with older shows. It has VESA mounting points and I was able to hang it up with the same wall mount I've had for 6+ years. On the nerdier side of things it uses Samsungs own software TizenOS and is not running android. Due to this it has a ton of safety features (and bugs) that make it more difficult to side load apps. When I first bought it Jellyfin wasn't available in the app store and it was a pain to get it working (it has since been added and works great). For any fellow tinkerers out there make sure you are prepared to deal with TizenOS before purchasing.

There's also so many different picture settings so you can get the brightness and resolution you want for each different activity.

They are not all used at the same time, since we are senior citizens. Our grandkids love that they can watch their our tv while visiting. They are bright, easy to use, My husband is a bit hard of hearing so it would be nice to have a hearing impaired options.
