This stuff is great. It provides a light softening - and is not a heavy, sticky liquid like the old days. The scent is present, but not overpowering. My only complaint - and it's significant - is the bottle and cap. There's no pour spout and no handle - why?!? That actually makes it a bit tough to work with.

The Cool Cotton is a delicate and natural scent without the overwhelming perfume scent that affect my allergy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Rinse and Refresh is free of heavy dyes and perfumes. This is great for my family because it doesn't irritate our sensitive skin. I add it to the fabric softener compartment on our washer. It's quick and easy. It keeps our laundry fresher for longer. Especially our bath and hand towels which I find can carry a pesky odor from being constantly damp. I will definitely continue to use in the future!
