You definitely can smell it and it's worth the buy for your clothes you like to wear a lot. I am not sure how long the smell will last but it seems to last at least a week.

I have a potty training toddler, who uses cloth diapers for naps and sleeptime and in public so things can get a little stinky with that. However I used the rinse and fresh as directed on the back of the container and I can not begin to tell you how pleased I am. The scent is great and noticable. Easy usage and love it.

So his clothes are usually covered in sweat when he gets home. This takes out the odor. Making it where I'm not having to wash twice. The fresh cool cotton smell makes it smell so fresh. Love this.

The light fragrance lasts several weeks after washing. I have a shirt that I washed 3 weeks ago using the Downy Rinse and Refresh and it still smells great hanging in my closet. It leaves my clothes feeling soft and is great for wrinkles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Downy rinse and refresh for a few weeks now in my wash rinse. It smells so good and refreshing . My husband works outside and sweats a lot . His clothes need that extra freshening touch and this does the trick. I add a cap to each load. One bottle last a god while. It literally only takes one cap to freshen an entire load. There are other scents to choose from as well. I wouldn’t do laundry without it now, it really does a great job !
