[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this Downy Rinse and Refresh when I wash my boys’ stinky soccer gear and it does an amazing job pulling the smell out and making their sports clothes and socks smell great again! Definitely a product I will continue to use.

This won't help with stains, but it definitely tackles the smells. The cool cotton scent is hard to describe, but vey pleasant and not overpowering. Comfortable is maybe the best word. Anyway, it works great and we use it in every wash load.

We were already long time users of Downy products, but this new fabric softener is a winner. It actually removes odors instead of hiding them. We have a pre-teen boy that’s drags in odors you can’t get rid of with regular detergents. They mostly camo the odors. This rinse product does when used as instructed.

My sons soccer clothes never smell clean enough!! This is a total game changer!! Soccer has never smelled better and my towels and sheets smell amazing and feel so so much cleaner!!

I also expected these loads to smell fresher because it reduces odor and I saw no difference there as well. However, I did like that it was more of a water consistence than a gel like other fabric softeners.

The light fragrance lasts several weeks after washing. I have a shirt that I washed 3 weeks ago using the Downy Rinse and Refresh and it still smells great hanging in my closet. It leaves my clothes feeling soft and is great for wrinkles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cool cotton scent has definitely made my clothes and towels smell nice but I really haven't noticed any significant change as far as strong odors (hello old sports jerseys) or detergent residue is concerned. This may be more beneficial to someone who has issues with hard water.

It's easy to use and makes your clothes smell HEAVENLY! The Downy Rinse and Refresh is added to the fabric softener spot of your washing machine and is disbursed during the rinse cycle. My laundry has never smelled so good and felt so fresh/clean. My husband is super picky about how his laundry and he has asked that I never do laundry dry without the Rinse and Refresh. Overall, I would certainly recommend this product to whomever is doing laundry. It's seriously thee absolute best product! The best part - it's sage to use on all fabrics!
