If you’re thinking of purchasing this surround keep in mind you still have to plug the rear speakers into an AC outlet. The set up was very easy. Attaching the soundbar to the TV was very easy. It took a little time to get familiar with the app to personalize all the sound settings. Family and friends were highly impressed with the surround system while watching movies or even a sporting event! I highly recommend this product especially if you’re on a budget.

Extremely happy with the wireless subwoofer and the wireless rear speakers! So convenient not having to run wires everywhere. This system has enhanced our movie watching experience. Almost as good as being at the movie theater. I highly recommend this system!

It was very easy to connect to my TV and I have an older model TV as well. I wouldn’t consider this sound system portable as there are multiple pieces/speakers.

The addition of real surround speakers (not just virtual or simulated surround). The subwoofer provides decent low-end punch for movies and action scenes. Dolby Atmos, surround speakers, and a subwoofer in a relatively compact and affordable package is great value, especially for casual home theater setup. The Vizio app lets you adjust individual levels (bar, sub, surrounds), which is very helpful if your room layout isn’t ideal. impressive surround sound performance for the price.

Since then I have had a couple of sound bars that were ok, better that the tv built in speakers but not anything special. As a result when I got the Vizio 5.1.2 I didn’t expect much, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Easy setup, easy tuning and so unobtrusive. I’m enjoying rewatching a ton of movies with great sound tracks!

Won’t pair. Got two with the door buster deal and neither will pair with their independent speakers. One paired with the side speakers but not the subwoofer and in trying to get it to pair with the subwoofer it never connected with the side speakers again. Too much time spent on this with factory resets and trying to pair.

It sounds great. Until you have a phone call and need to hit pause quickly. Cause no remote with smart phone control sounds great on paper, but sucks in actuality. And good luck if you have other Bluetooth devices nearby. Also, if you have RCA or Optical cables, welp, you're screwed!
