Needed to keep an eye out on an aging relative and these cameras have been perfect. The solar panels keep the batteries fresh and the picture is crystal clear as well as sound. Everyone feels safer and the relative feels watched over and cared for while they're up and running.

the video is crisp and clear great cameras

Not bad for the price isn’t as big a resolution as I wish it was but it does the job

Bought this product because it had lots of promise. However it failed to deliver. Issues: *Must have subscription to record *There are no mounting brackets for the solar panels, so I guess you're supposed to just let them hang? Ended up buying separately. *Cameras would not connect. Took an 82 minute call to tech support to resolve. Had to reset all network connections in my phone (which is not a great solution). *Website says there is chat support, but there isn't.

So disappointed in Arlo due to internet issues. Had to switch internet provider and now Arlo will not connect due to requiring 2.4 bandwidth and won’t run off of 5 .. had the outside cameras as well and two months after warranty expired they suddenly won’t connect..I subscribed to the premium package so I would have extra coverage. Loved the quality and features of these cameras but now they are totally useless., so unhappy Arlo!! Do better!

Returned it dont wanna pay monthly for storage of videos

Had older Arlo cameras for a long time and was excited to get this upgrade a month ago. They haven't worked a single day yet. Arlo customer service has been dismissive and passive about resolution. Apparently there are known issues with these and Verizon home networks. Multiple phone calls for help and no call backs when promised.

We bought these cameras because our current ring camera stopped working. We noticed there was a horrible lag with arlo. By the time somebody was already in the house it would notify me someone was here. It would catch the back of people leaving instead of starting the video when someone was walking up to the house. Even though we got the subscription for recording, it wouldn't keep a record of the live footage to replay later. We had a lot better luck with the ring camera so I guess we will just buy new ring cameras. We didn't have a lag with ring like we did with arlo. Save your money! We took it back and got a refund.

I bought these because our car was recently stolen and they seemed like a great idea being that they are supposed to be a wireless solar powered camera system, you have to have a subscription to use them, and have to pay extra if you want 24/7 recording. I was okay with that at first and went ahead and started the subscription, come to find out you have to have the cameras plugged into an AC power outlet at all times in order to record continuous (doesn't that defeat the purpose of wireless cameras with a solar power supply!!!). I went ahead and did the subscription and mounted the cameras where I intended to use them, I then had to be on an AI support chat for nearly two hours just to get the cameras to actually record and upload to the recorded feed. Once we got everything working I testedbout the sensitivity and wanted to see how far away it would detect motion, on the highest sensitivity setting and with all settings set to record any and all motion I could not get the cameras to react outside of about 10 feet away from where the camera was mounted. In addition to these issues the cameras only worked for about a half hour and then went right back to not working at all. I will definitely be returning this item and do not recommend this item to anyone who needs an actual surveillance system.

Stay away from Arlo. The notifications are very late. It's hard to add a device to the app. Sometimes it won't add for weeks or months. Support is equally bad. The chat app cannot even retain a session and ends the chat abruptly.
