This is my 2nd Ambilight tv purchase in a month. This Philips TV with Roku levels up from every other TV in the market. Ambilight is a game changer for me. Literally boring watching TV without Ambilight now. Even my screen saver with scrolling Roku City lights up the entire room at night in a cool purple glow.

We already had a small one that I put in the kitchen to help our child with his homework, but this one supersedes my expectations. I immediately replaced our little one with this one. Although the little one was effective, it was very dim. The sound quality was okay, but with this new Philips television it’s a lot larger, it’s a lot brighter and it glows in the background to whatever is airing on the television. I typically mirror our laptop to the tv and this one does it without issue and I don’t have to keep prompting a pair after the first time. The sound is extremely clear and crisp. For a child learning mandarin, pronunciation is extremely important; being able to see the characters are just as important along with having full understanding of the pin yins. This tv is so easy to use. I connected to the internet in a matter of seconds. Roku thought of everything because once I logged into my account, I didn’t have to re download the apps. Everything was perfectly where I had it and the remote control makes it extremely easy to navigate to most of the popular apps with just the click only a button. I love love love this tv and I highly recommend.

It can connect to the phone Roku app which is easy to set up and get multiple functions. Many Chanels and app can be added to the TV. The color is so good and bright. This make me so impressed. I wish I can get the bigger size. Thank you @influenster and @philiptv to give me the chance to try this Philip Amblight tv.

Very easy / light to hang up. Was able to take old tv down and hang this up and set up in less than 30 minutes while my daughter napped. Picture quality and sound are good. Got this for $200 for some kind of Super Bowl savings Sams had. The 55” is perfect for our room. The ambient lighting is awesome my son really likes it too !

OMG! This is the TV that I never knew I wanted! I love how the Roku is built in and easy to use. I'm absolutely in love with the LED lighting. That feature alone makes enhances the TV watching experience. I only have two issues number 1 the TV stands that come with the television. I screwed them in as tight as possible, but it's still not stable and shakes. I've taken the stands off multiple times and re-screw them, but it still is not stable. I'm just not sure how to resolve that issue at this time. I currently have the TV on an old nightstand, but I'm not interested in doing the wall mount at this time. My other issue is the built-in speaker quality is not the best at all for me. Honestly, it sounds muted and I'll probably look into getting a sound bar at some point. Overall, the TV experience for me now is amazing. I will definitely look into getting future ambient light TV's.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought this TV a few weeks ago for my patio and have been extremely impressed. I originally went into the search expecting to end up with either a Vizio or a Samsung and did not plan on buying a Philips at all. That changed once I saw this model in the store and noticed the ambient lighting feature. The lighting adds a whole new dimension to watching TV, especially outdoors. It is bright, responsive, and genuinely enhances the viewing experience in a way that is hard to appreciate until you see it in person. I tried to attach a photo but Sam's website keeps erroring out on the photo attachment. Another big plus is that this is a Roku TV. The interface is simple, fast, and makes switching between apps effortless. Everything just works without any unnecessary complexity. Picture quality is excellent, the TV feels well built, and for the price, this is an outstanding value. I could not be happier with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it, especially for anyone setting up an outdoor or patio space. On a side note, I picked up the Philips soundbar too and the setup was flawless. I literally plugged it in and the Roku TV recognized it immediately. No settings to change, no prompts to click through, nothing. The TV's built-in sound is only okay, which is what you'd expect with ultra-thin TVs, so an inexpensive soundbar is the perfect fix. Since this is on my patio, I planned to add one either way.

It has the feature which allows the light from the screen to project behind the tv giving it a cool effect when watching movies. It’s a Roku tv so there are many streaming apps/ services. I have a remote control that was Roku and this one is way cheaper than the one I used to have.

My favorite part, though, is the cool lighting on the back. That is what really makes this TV worth buying and helps it stand out from similar options on the market. It makes for a great movie night or game night TV! It also comes at a reasonable price point.

This is not my first Philips Roku TV, but it's my first with Ambilight built in and my WHOLE family is loving it. Setup was seamless, and the glow around this TV is a wow factor from the very beginning. I was excited to test out the color syncing with a super colorful movie, and while Inside Out was awesome, I've actually loved the effect the Ambilight has on some darker shows (Severance, Pluribus) even more. The whole room is a mood. Not sure I'll ever be able to go back to "regular" TV... Highly recommend.
