The screen was literally shattered. It looks like it was stored face down and someone stepped on it. Other than that, the size, the weight and the price were perfect.

The Ambilight experience is more immersive, and the new set is very light weight. So happy Ambilight is back! Have been telling everyone I know about it. Those that have seen the new set can't believe the awesome picture!

I waited a bit before posting this just to really get the feel for this TV. Overall: Outstanding. Choice of OS is my preferred, especially with the Roku wireless speakers/sub. Visually this panel is great. The backlight, while not shattering any records, is bright enough for almost all situations beside direct sunlight. Even in a bright colored room with lots of natural light pouring in, the picture was contrast-y and dynamic. The ambient lighting is one of my favorite features. I wish the wall color calibration were a bit more advanced (eg. different color per strip, split into 6 segments, etc.) but even just leaving it at default is fine. Device is snappy, storage is quick leading to fast opens, and has enough of it that no offloading needs to occur. I bought a 43" just to test it out and will be coming back for another once the larger TV goes. One drawback is the loss of the AmbiScape features compared to the EU Ambilight line.

Very easy / light to hang up. Was able to take old tv down and hang this up and set up in less than 30 minutes while my daughter napped. Picture quality and sound are good. Got this for $200 for some kind of Super Bowl savings Sams had. The 55” is perfect for our room. The ambient lighting is awesome my son really likes it too !

OMG! This is the TV that I never knew I wanted! I love how the Roku is built in and easy to use. I'm absolutely in love with the LED lighting. That feature alone makes enhances the TV watching experience. I only have two issues number 1 the TV stands that come with the television. I screwed them in as tight as possible, but it's still not stable and shakes. I've taken the stands off multiple times and re-screw them, but it still is not stable. I'm just not sure how to resolve that issue at this time. I currently have the TV on an old nightstand, but I'm not interested in doing the wall mount at this time. My other issue is the built-in speaker quality is not the best at all for me. Honestly, it sounds muted and I'll probably look into getting a sound bar at some point. Overall, the TV experience for me now is amazing. I will definitely look into getting future ambient light TV's.

This is not my first Philips Roku TV, but it's my first with Ambilight built in and my WHOLE family is loving it. Setup was seamless, and the glow around this TV is a wow factor from the very beginning. I was excited to test out the color syncing with a super colorful movie, and while Inside Out was awesome, I've actually loved the effect the Ambilight has on some darker shows (Severance, Pluribus) even more. The whole room is a mood. Not sure I'll ever be able to go back to "regular" TV... Highly recommend.
