Picture clarity is fantastic. Sound quality is actually pretty good. You wouldn’t have to have a sound bar if you didn’t want one and let’s face it, the ambient lights are really cool and set it apart. Not to mention a good price.

Never heard of this TV until I went down the rabbitt hole of finding a cheap, new TV for my bedroom. I have always been a huge Govee fan for the backlights and color changing features. But the Govee lights are so complicated to get set up properly from the camera mounting, natural sunlight in the room, calibration, and more. Could never get my govee to work right so much so that I have not gotten Govee TV lights since. This TV has zero cameras or Calibration and is SCARY accurate with the backlights matching whatever is going on on the screen. I am a big star wars fan and I tested the Govee with an intense lightsaber battle and did the same video for this tv and was absolutely blown away! And for the price, its only $50 more than every other smart tv in this size category. You cant even get the govee lights for $50 and even if you could, it does not perform as good as this tv does. And the fact that this type of TV goes up to 65" is awesome as well. 10/10 would recommend and have shown everyone at my work and they all had dropped jaws. Seriously, stop looking at other TV's in this price range and just buy this one. You will NOT regret it.

Great tv especially for the price. The lights are really cool and make this tv unique. Philips has been around for awhile so you know it’s a trust worthy brand. Overall it’s a great choice especially if you are interested in the led lights.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought this TV a few weeks ago for my patio and have been extremely impressed. I originally went into the search expecting to end up with either a Vizio or a Samsung and did not plan on buying a Philips at all. That changed once I saw this model in the store and noticed the ambient lighting feature. The lighting adds a whole new dimension to watching TV, especially outdoors. It is bright, responsive, and genuinely enhances the viewing experience in a way that is hard to appreciate until you see it in person. I tried to attach a photo but Sam's website keeps erroring out on the photo attachment. Another big plus is that this is a Roku TV. The interface is simple, fast, and makes switching between apps effortless. Everything just works without any unnecessary complexity. Picture quality is excellent, the TV feels well built, and for the price, this is an outstanding value. I could not be happier with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it, especially for anyone setting up an outdoor or patio space. On a side note, I picked up the Philips soundbar too and the setup was flawless. I literally plugged it in and the Roku TV recognized it immediately. No settings to change, no prompts to click through, nothing. The TV’s built-in sound is only okay, which is what you’d expect with ultra-thin TVs, so an inexpensive soundbar is the perfect fix. Since this is on my patio, I planned to add one either way.

TV went in my kitchen so we can enjoy while we cook and eat. Works well when entertaining folks and Roku is the only way to go. Bolt pattern is a little Stanton the back for mounting but otherwise easy to install.

This is my 2nd Ambilight tv purchase in a month. This Philips TV with Roku levels up from every other TV in the market. Ambilight is a game changer for me. Literally boring watching TV without Ambilight now. Even my screen saver with scrolling Roku City lights up the entire room at night in a cool purple glow.

First one was DOA, but it seemed obviously a shipping issue and the TV looked really good for the price, and I still wanted to try it again. So I'm glad I ordered the replacement. It's the best TV I've ever had at this point, picture is good. The backlighting is top tier. settings are good. Only two real criticisms. Sound could be better, but you can't really put much space in the form factor of modern TVs to make top tier multi inch speaker drivers at wattage, so I get it. I already have a much better 5.2 Soundbar surround system anyway. The only thing I'd really dock this star for - my girl is very sensitive to light some days. and you can't turn down the brightness good enough. Turn off ambilight, and "darker, dark, normal, bright, brighter" isn't really as good as the old sliders. and when I do turn it on darkest for the nights I might need it... it has a tendency to make flickering. and it's still not very dark at all.
