network issues and lag on two tvs

Replaced two TCL smart tvs with these and I was disappointed to say the least. There is hardly and storage space on there (less than 2gb free space with just the default apps). But thats not what bothered me. The real issue is the network connectivity error I get every other time I start the tv. It's infuriating and happens all the time. It must be an issue with this model because it happens on both my tvs, not just one. It takes several restarts and/or network configurations in settings before it starts workingn again. I never had connectivity issues with my old TCLs and no other device in my home has network connection issues. To add to this, the button lag is super slow, and the home screen interface isnt very convient to get to your streaming apps easily. I was expecting more from Samung but after these go I probably wont stick with their brand.

Hi Cristian, Thank you for your feedback. Please ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update 1132. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV: 1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manual & Software > Find your TV model, and click on the Firmware – Upgrade File. 2. When the file has finished downloading, locate it and then unzip it. There is normally one folder inside but there may be multiple files. 3. Copy or move all of the files that were included in the zip file to a USB flash drive, but do not place them inside any other folders. If you place the software folders inside a folder on the USB flash drive, the TV or monitor will not find them. 4. Connect the USB drive containing the software upgrade into a USB port on your device. 5. Using your device's remote, navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select Support. Select Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes if prompted. It’s a BLUR

Don’t buy this TV if you watch sports. Everything has tracers and not clear during a game. The 60 refresh rate is wholly Insufficient. Idk how you can make a tv that literally doesn’t show a clear picture. I understand the price Point but as consumer I am counting on th tv to show a clear picture, not the best but clear. This tv does NOT do that. I have a 65” TCL with the same 60 refresh rate and NEVER has this problem. If I could do it over I would spend whatever is needed to get at least a 120 refresh rate

55” crystal tv

Still Figuring It Out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I'm in the fence about this TV. The picture is amazing, but the functions are confusing and, at times, inconvenient. I don't like how downloading an app doesn't automatically bring it to the home page. I don't like how, on the remote, the left volume button has so many functions, so trying to mute the TV will bring up an avatar doing sign language. I don't like how I need to but a soundbar to utilize Bixby. The volume isn't that great either. I do, however, like that it's a Samaung TV and I'm able to watch Roku TV. As mentioned, picture is beautiful. I really feel like I need too many spent gadgets to fully appreciate what this TV is capable of, so I'll hold on to it until I unlock it's full potential. Overall, I'd buy again... so far.

Great hardware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tv. crystal clear picture and sound. The only thing I didn’t like was how slow the software is. I got it because it was loaded with smart tizen which would allow me to stream and download streaming apps but unfortunately the software is slow to switch between apps and the only way to use voice control which isn’t as intuitive as Roku is through the phone app. If it wasn’t for the software I would’ve given this tv a 10 star.

U79000 Review

Just wish it had another port for another output . The sound is loud enough and clear without a soundbar . I like this TV overall for the size of the room I have it in . Overall it is a good TV for the price I paid . Samsung puts out good products . This is my 3rd Samsung already . One lasted 12 years and the other one lasted like 10

crystal UHD u7900fd
