Starlink has been amazing! I wanted to get it for a long time but never did, I finally broke down and bought it, and I wished I had bought it so much sooner. I started to get nervous after ordering it as I’ve heard of stories of people that purchased from Walmart and had to pay an out of region fee, thankfully though the seller on Walmart I purchased from I didn’t have this issue, I set it up, even got a free 7 day trial to starlink internet from starlink themselves, and a discounted first month cost! It has been great! If you purchase one, I will advise to be cautious as you may get an out of region fee, if you do, return the starlink don’t even finish setting it up so that you don’t get hit with that fee. As for the seller I purchased from, I didn’t have this issue!

Living out in the country with few to none options, this is a quick expensive way to get online. The price for service and what you get, your last name better equal money. 140 a month for barely 2 days a month for internet?? Then you opt in and that’s .50 cents per gb you go over. This is a crazy solution but with no other choice, what can you do????

Love how fast it came. The dish is easy to install and setup. The activation was easy and the speeds are great. Downloads, Gaming, Video conferencing and just plain streaming with multiple users has been great. Was so glad to get rid of Comcast and all of their pricey hidden charges. With starlink adding more and better satellites the service will only get better.

The QR in the installation instructions guides you thru the setup. I'm 76 and was able to successful get the StarLink connection up and going in about 30 minutes. It does have a glish as it initial showed the monthly cost for the residential plan as $80 a month, but that is for the residential lite plan. the residential plan is $120 a month. the Lite is not available everyplace. The speed is fantastic compared to the system I was on

we recently purchased this item to get away from the cable company we are forced to receive here in our county. the company has poles that are leaning and only beings held up by tension of the cable and where it's not there is cable hanging off it where thiefs have stolen it. and we have been with the company through several buy outs and had the same phone number for over 40 years. wish we had this 30 years ago

I live in a rural area where our local internet provider could only provide 3mbps download speed. Considering this and the recent hurricanes in our area we decided to go with Starlink. We have zero regrets. Setup was completed within 30 minutes or less. The equipment is compact and self explanatory. The internet speed is great. We run security cameras, stream our tvs, and have several devices on wifi as well. Currently the internet speed test says 223.2 mbps download. I did purchase the mounting equipment separately in order to mount the satellite to a pole. Don’t hesitate, make the switch!

We have had the Starlink for 1 month now and I can’t say enough positive things about it. Self installation was a breeze. Internet has been flawless with 200-240 mbps download. It appears to be getting stronger and faster as time goes on. We live outside city limits and no other internet company provides internet without a cap. It is a little pricey however, it’s worth it when nothing else is on the table.

the starlink has been a lifesaver for us seeing how we were in the hurricane Helena it's November the 30th and we still have no internet from the local services they starlink has worked out great quick we're able to get on three cell phones and stream movies at the same time and works great

Pro - 300 Mbs in a very remote location. Cons - - requires a smart phone with camera to download starlink app to complete setup. - Getting the kickstand off the back of the receiver took 4 people looking at it, one flat head screw driver and brute force. No instructions on how to remove it were included. check the phone app for clues before you break the receiver, though. - I was unable to get it into 100% alignment in a 100% unobstructed installation mainly because of the slope of the roof, the angle of the mounting pole is sub optimal and the mount on the back side if the receiver is not adjustable. I.E. limited X and Y axis adjustment zero z axis adjustment. 14% off works, though. - $100 fee for being American, disguised as a conjestion charge. - A pole mount is pretty much mandatory to get a 100% clear view of the sky. Add $80 onto the order for that. - If you need to install a ways away from your home to get a clear view, or have a big home, get a whole home mesh wifi setup because the wifi that is included barely covers 900 sf. $250-$500 for good wifi mesh system. - The $120 monthly fee is very high for $300 mbs service compared to $30-$40 national average. - After paying someone to install it on top of the house with price of unit, "American User" Congestion fee, mounting pole, and mesh wifi addon plus the cost of the first year monthly charges, expect to drop at least $2,500-$3,000 on a working system. that price could go quite a bit higher if you need to remove obstructions like trees.
