The kit isn't the problem. The problem is Walmart does not warn you to check availability in your area. After Helene we are on our 6th month without Internet. We only had one option and they are pitiful liars after the storm. Got really excited to buy a Starlink Residential kit because my neighbor right across our driveway has one so I figured I was good to go. We're very rural yet when I downloaded the app it says "sold out" in our whole section of the state. Too many connections already and have to wait yet I can't pay the $9 to be put on the waiting list unless I return this one and order directly from Starlink at the same price. There are more cow pastures and mountains here than people. They pushed Starlink on us after Hurricane Helene hit us but they never warned us about having to wait for a connection spot to free up. Sorta feel like I got taken advantage of and I find it strange that my neighbors ( 2 houses at least) were up and running in no time without being on a wait-list. $9 to wait????

Works Flawlessly only took 15 minutes to set up instructions are very thorough for satellite internet it’s amazing I’m consistently running 200 to 250 mbps download speed and 40 mbps upload for unlimited data with no cap on speed I’m very happy with it

Amazing setup, super easy to do from my phone in the wild. Was up and running in about an hour from first setup. Connects me quickly after that setup. Love it for camping. Going to try out my VR headset and a projector next time im out camping. 'Roughing It'.

I was nervous about ordering online and really wanted to have the Starlink in hand quickly in case I needed to return it. But after two rainstorms and some real-life testing, I’m beyond impressed—it’s working great! Our property hasn’t been able to get internet through any local providers, so this has been a total game changer.

If you purchase this online the actual website it's not only cheaper but you get the whole kit to set it up. That's what I thought this was but it's only the the satellite plate. Nothing more. I didn't know the website was a better deal till after I tossed this thing on my shed. So hopefully I can save someone else a few bucks. kinda silly to charge so much to get one single item when you need an entire kit. It's like selling a bicycle without handlebars 🤣🤣🤣

My internet provider kept raising their rates. Where I live, I had not many other choices for internet providers. I decided to try Starlink. The set-up can be a bit frustrating because you need to find the best place for it. Luckily the app makes it easy. That was the hardest part. The service is much better than my previous provider.

It works! The price is a little steep for Roam Unlimited, but if you need internet on the go, for work or play, this is the way to go. Youtube, Teams Calls, SSH sessions, all flawless. Sometimes there is some brief delays, but most connections tolerate it and you don't lose anything. In places where lots of houses and buildings can obstruct your view, expect a lower speed and more dropouts. You are always suited best by finding the best angle to the sky, sometimes 10 feet one way or the other helped an enormous amount.

It is working grate in my area. My pryer Internet I had 2 lines coming in the house. It was 179.78 for them a Month. It was always going down several times a day. Plus each line should of been 15 per line. At 2×15=30 of internet expected. My total coming in was maby 20 total. I totaly recommend the STARLINK nternet set up. Plus it is not hard for some people to put in yourself.

Living out in the boondocks it's hard to find internet, and when you do it's spotty and costly. Yes the satellite start up cost is a little pricey, but I have never had internet this good before. It's fast no more buffering all kid's gaming and hubby and I watch TV without any problems. Love this Internet!!

We live in the country and HughesNet was the only option ( other than using our cell phone HotSpots). Starlink was super easy to set up. The router for Starlink is temporarily in a travel trailer 120 feet from the house. The HughesNet router is inside the house. Internet speed test from inside the house shows Starlink is 10 times faster!! We can now stream movies and shows just like the city-folks!!! When we called HighesNet to cancel - they tried to tell us they have upgraded equipment that is faster than other options and asked us which internet service we were switching to - when we said ‘Starlink’ … the woman just said ‘ oh’ and had nothing to offer us. Our Starlink is only 12 feet high right now, doesn’t even get 100% coverage and is still that much faster ! We are super happy!
