[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month or so ago. First May I say it is an amazing tv, great picture and amazing sound, surpassing a friends sound bar. The only snag was the lack of UK “catch up” apps. However LG have been amazing, their service centre took charge and over a period of a month all the catch up apps bar one have come in. The AI sound setting is fantastic and the upscaling on the picture from dvds is likewise amazing. The only thing it is lacking is a 3D setting, which for some unknown reason has been dropped from recent tvs. Set up was easy and the abundance of HDMI sockets really helps with today’s myriad of connections needed. Although a little pricy, well worth the expense. After all you get what you pay for don’t you?

The new panel technology (primary RGB tandem 4 stack OLED) is absolutely outstanding and brings many improvements, including the ability to display fantastic depths of colour, crisp and faultless images, true blacks and great brightness and clarity. It has improved whites over previous model owned and zero colour tinting. The build quality is excellent and aesthetically pleasing. Cable measurement has been thought out well and the ability to choose between 2 heights for the stand set up was useful. A real immersive experience and such a pleasure to watch. A masterclass from LG.

The design is incredibly sleek, super thin and nearly flush with the wall, which makes it look amazing even when it’s off. I’ve wanted an OLED for years, and this one is perfect. The picture quality is stunning: vibrant colors, deep blacks, and it even performs well in bright sunlight. Our living room gets a ton of natural light, and it still looks fantastic. The sound is pretty good overall, though the bass is a little weak, we usually use a soundbar so we’re picky. What really impressed me is how fast and responsive everything is. Apps load quickly, and navigating the menus is smooth. The remote works as a pointer, has voice control, and you can talk directly to the TV with “Hi LG” commands.
