[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched the market extensively and decided I wanted to buy an LG TV as they are one of the leading manufacturers and also supply many panels to other manufacturers. I visited Richer Sounds in Brighton and after discussions and demonstration settled on the OLED55G54LW TV. Super design and just stunning picture quality. We have paired it with a Marantz home cinema amplifier with 11 speakers and the whole experience is just out of this world. The remote control is back lit which is another definite advantage in the evenings. Easy set up and a delight to use. Best TV I have bought to date

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incredible TV but as of the software on the TV at launch it does not playback streamed content with Dolby Vision correctly, but I'm not knocking it down a star or even half a star for that because LG have already said a fix will be out in an update this month - so no complaints at all! I upgraded from a 2019 C9 LG OLED and this feels like a massive leap in quality and brightness.

I have had the LG B1 and LG C1 which I thought that their pictures were good, but this LG G5 is on a different level. No matter what type of picture you are watching (HD, SD HDR or Dolby Vision) the picture is superb. I particuarly like the AI personalised picture wizzard which adjusts the picture setting by giving you a series of picture examples to choose from. Highly recommended TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this model since June, it doesn’t disappoint. Fabulous pictures abound, great sound and build quality. All the connectivity you’ll ever need together with all the latest apps. Look no further, highly recommended.

Brilliant tv, a nice upgrade from the CX. Does need some software updates though. Sometimes Dolby vision can appear dim not sure why. Can’t set high peak brightness in game mode unlike Samsung. But it’s still way better than Samsung and the processor is much better, motion handling is good. Need to test the cinematic motion I’ve heard thats good. Brightness looks really good and colours are better! It’s a brand new panel and there will be some updates that lg will need to do. But I’d only recommend buying it if you can get a good deal

The TVs functions and features are amazing and the quality is outstanding. No issues with sound , despite hearing a few thbgs about dolby sound. Iv no had any issues. Very durable and sleek.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G5 is a phenomenal TV. This is my first OLED TV and it certainly does not disappoint. The brightness and contrast are exceptional, and the image quality delivers a real 'wow' factor whatever content you throw at it. Even out of the box, content looks excellent but with tweaking it looks absolutely fantastic - there are a myriad of options you can use to tweak the image to exactly the way you want it. I was initially concerned that the display might not be bright enough for my home setup as our living room receives a lot of natural light, but this may well be the brightest TV I have ever used. Aside from the spectacular image quality, I've also been really impressed with WebOS which is easy to use and intuitive. All of the usual suspects are available in terms of streaming apps and, unlike other TVs I have used, the TV is very responsive and I've never been caught waiting for things to load. I particularly like the magic remote, which you can point at the screen to select content, and how fast it is to change inputs which can be an issue on smart TVs. Although definitely a premium product, the G5 delivers on all fronts - it's a no-regret buy for anyone on the fence!
