Ok

It took 1.5 hours to charge my iPhone 13 Pro 256 Gb and only at 97% at that, and iHome battery showed 0 in indicator light. My phone is supposed to be ~3500 mAh and this powerbank is supposed to have 5000mAh, why did it not fully charge my phone and drained? Phone was at 19% of 97% capacity so around 3395 mAh (from 665 mAH) .. so supposedly, it needs 2730 mAh to fully charge and the battery supposedly has 5000 mAh. The battery charged at 20% in 20 minutes. Charged to 100% from 11:38am to 1:02pm (~80mins). I would have to make a few more tries to see if the performance improves. Overall, I feel that yes it's thin and lightweight, so it's good for adding juice at the end of the day.

You can charge your Samsung phone using the USB-C cable and 20W PD output on this power bank, but the magnetic “MagSafe” attachment feature is designed for Apple iPhones and typically won’t magnetically snap to Samsung phones without a special magnetic Qi2 case.

Not great

The literature says it can charge your phone up to two times. The truth is it won’t even fully charge your phone once.

Decent for Price Point

This charger is slim and magnetized well to my phone. It will *maybe* get 1 charge. Definitely not 2 as advertised. But one is all I need typically. It does get hot when charging and so does my phone. So keep that in mind as well when charging.

Not what it’s advertised

It claims to charge your device up to 2 times, it did not even fully charged my phone once. At 100% it only changed my phone from 19% to 62% and it was not fast at all. I will love to return it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Wireless charging is less efficient than wired charging by nature — some energy is always lost as heat during magnetic induction — so wireless output will be lower than the unit's rated capacity. For the full charging capacity advertised, we recommend using the included USB-C cable, which delivers significantly more power to your phone than wireless. Factors like phone case thickness, alignment with the magnetic ring, and ambient temperature can also affect wireless performance. We appreciate your honest review.
— The iHome Team

One charge only

I give this a two star , it only charged my iPhone once and only to 80% before it was drained The product claims two charges but no way and I would not buy again

Slows and small capacity

Terrible charger. I lose about 15% within 3 minute of my portable and if charged me 5% on my iPhone. Mind you i just bought it about a day to two days ago…

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're sorry to hear the power bank isn't performing as expected. Wireless charging is less efficient than wired charging by nature — some energy is always lost as heat during magnetic induction — but the ratio you're describing sounds outside the normal range. Factors like phone case thickness, alignment with the magnetic ring, ambient temperature, and using the phone while charging can also affect performance. We appreciate you taking the time to leave an honest review.
— The iHome Team

Not Impressed

The charger doesn’t continue to charge. I have to ‘wake it up’ after a few minutes. I thought it might be the phone case, but it still happens without it.

This charger was completely disappointing, while it does charge wirelessly the magnet does not stick at all. I have a pixel 7 and I even tried it without my case and it does not stick either. Without the magnet it does not work if I have it on the go and moving around in my bag and holding it in my hand is exhausting after some time. It would only work if I leave it sitting there which is not always the case. I asked for a replacement and found that the second charger also does not have a strong magnet either, incredibly disappointing. I returned the charger, it was not worth the money.

This charger is designed with built-in magnetic alignment specifically for MagSafe-compatible iPhone models (iPhone 12 and newer). The magnetic feature works with Apple’s MagSafe functionality, which includes an internal magnet ring inside the phone.

While the charger will still provide standard wireless charging for other Qi-enabled devices like the Google Pixel 7, those devices do not have the built-in magnetic ring required for the magnet to attach securely. Without that magnet system, the charger will charge, but it will not “snap” into place or hold while moving.
