My soup had cabbage, onion, bell pepper, carrots, squash, mushrooms and chicken. I added course black pepper and a tiny bit of salt. I then added Old World Italian seasoning by The Spice House. It has a freshly ground flavor. This seasoning has a blend of oregano, fennel, chile flakes and garlic. It also has paprika, salt, cane sugar, savory and onion. The chile flakes give it a mild kick so I suggest you taste before adding a lot. Since hubby really liked the flavor of my soup I’ve since used Old World Italian seasoning on other dishes. I really love how it enhances the flavor of chicken as well as beef and pork. Next I’ll try it on pasta dishes. This seasoning will now be a staple in my seasoning cabinet.

Its just the right balance of fennel,oregano and spices, nothing over powering, makes the perfect meat sauce. Easy to use ,just add desired amount for preferred flavor. I've added to so many dishes since getting this. I suggest adding a little at a time, its easy to over season because the spices are dried. It needs time to bloom within the dish. I've even added the seasoning to extra virgin olive oil and dip my bread in it. Its delicious.

While this blend of spices was not my favorite, it was nice to be able to Mae my normal rotation of dishes and have a different taste added in. I really like the packaging in that it is see through and very easy to read and understand. So may spice and seasoning packaging has tiny letters that are difficult to see.

This is from the house spice old world Italian you can use it for pasta, beef, pork, and vegetables really I think you could probably use it for anything. This tastes amazing The ingredients is literally salt oregano, fentanyl, garlic, Kayne, sugar, chili, paprika, savory onions. I put it on the chicken in my kids, loved it and asked for more definitely will be something I look for in the forest.

My 1 year old and my elderly in laws found the spice to be a tad much but still edible. I used this in a red and a cream pasta sauce. I like the design of the product as well.
